How much spending money do you bring on your Disney vacation?

A few hundred dollars, easily. And this is with not buying any food in-park.

When I go to disneyland, I usually bring around 100 bucks for food and souvies.

I've only been to Disney World once, but I brought 600 bucks and my mom paid for whatever else.

As long as I'm still a college student, my mom doesn't have a problem spending money on me.

My parents pay for my food, and I dont need to buy souvenirs for myself because I'll be going back in a few months anyway. So I usually only take about $100.

my dad gave $300 each to my brother and me!! That was just for suvinors, we did have to pay for anything eles!, (I'm 12 and he was 13 at the time) I spent all of it!! lol

no offense to anyone but really how many suvinours do you need? especially if you know you are coming back.

My mum brings around $100 for every day we go, for food or snacks. After that, we get about $200 to $300 for shopping. Possibly more. I'm not really sure. I rarely spend it all.

i usually don't bring much. maybe like 150$
we go to disney a lot
so i just usually spend some money on pins and small things for my friends. my parents give me 40$ for food money.

when we go we only spend one day. it's not as big as wdw lol


now if i were going to wdw, i'd bring a tonnn more money.

I never actually have to bring money because my dad gives me charging privlages on our room key. On our last trip I spent $325, and I usually try to spend less then $400 The money I use for disney comes from money I have from working and right now I have about 1200 dollars saved up for stuff

Every year I like to buy a t-shirt that says the year, pins from the year or any new rides, and anything cute I see like bags or shirts

August '00 - I was 8, so my parents just gave me the money. I got like 20 bucks a day.
August '01 - Same as above.
September '07 - My parents paid for my stuff again. I think I spent about 600 dollars in the 2 weeks we were there.
September '08 - I saved money from my part-time job for months. I had $1000 saved up, and I spent every penny at WDW. I bought a ton of shirts, jewelry, bags, knick knacks, etc.
December '08 - I believe I only spent about 300 this trip. Parent's money.

i loooove buying souvenirs, and especially disney tees.

out of the $1500

$600 will probably be spent in Disney
$500 will be spent shopping in malls, especially at clothing stores like Abercrombie, Hollister, etc. (which are not found in Puerto Rico ))
$150 will be spent three days at Universal Studios Hollywood
$75 will be spent in Knott's Berry Farm
$50 will probably be left over as a starting fund for my June 2010 disneyland trip

Generally $50 or $60 for disneyland trips.

All I buy is ears and a shirt or something. Last trip i only got ears and a pressed penny.


When I go to WDW I imagine I will bring more. It will be my last "big" trip before moving out and off to college so i suppose my grandma will possibly buy me stuff.

In general on vacations I think I spend about $300-$400. It really adds up quick.

When we went on the Disney cruise I was in the gift shop (I was 12!) and bought something and wanted to pay CASH. The girl said "we don't take cash, we only take credit cards or your KTTW card" Well that just made me go crazy and I bought all of this stuff. I thought it was so cool because it was like using a credit card. When my mom got the bill she ...I think it was close to $1,000. The next year we went on a Carnival cruise and my mom told them to not let me charge anything to my card...guess she learned her lesson.

I went crazy buying fruity drinks and souveniers. If you drink a lot of those fruity drinks they can rack up your bill fast.

I love souveniers. I like looking at them and thinking of the trip. No, I don't "need" them but you only live once.

Anyway, I bring only $150.
My mom connects my room key/ticket to the bill for the hotel, and we pay her after.
I usually spend my money on arcades and pins!
Sometimes extra food when I used all my snack credits and stuff!
This year I am saving up wayyyy more!
