How much should I bring for tolls on this route?

I've planned out this route from MCO to a first-night hotel. I'm trying to figure out the orlando toll calculator but I'm not familiar with the exits and road names. Can anyone who is used to the road please let me know how much I should plan to bring along for exact change? I'd rather not get a big roll of quarters and have $5 in change I never use.

Thanks!

Not sure about the exact rate but google maps shows the original route (using i4) as the shortest drive & only two toll stops

But then you have to factor in day &/or time of day regarding traffic on i4

You can skip that $1.25 toll on the north side returning to the airport by getting off exit 9 and taking McCoy/frontage road (it parallels the highway) till 436 and take that south to the airport. If you wish to skip the toll when arriving to Disney, you take 436 North and take a left on N. Frontage road (there is a traffic light to help the left turn), and then watch for signs for 528 from there.

Take that route out the south side of the Airport as you planned and take FL 417. You just need a few dollars to complete the 2 or 3 tolls, and you can go through the cash booth where you will get change at each of the barriers.

FL 417 is the fastest and easiest way for sure. And a much more pleasant drive!

Thanks everyone, I'll try 417 instead. Arrival day gets me in at 8pm on a Saturday so I don't expect too much traffic and I'm leaving at noon on a Monday, but I'd rather not risk getting stuck at all.

I'd be happy using the manned booths, but I'm sure I'll inevitably get one without a person in it and I want to be prepared.

If you are coming from MCO I assume you are renting a car. I honestly recommend getting the electronic pass through the rental agency, then they just charge your CC for any tolls you incurr (it usually takes a while after you return the car to see the charges). It's never more than a couple o fbucks. In fact, I don't think I even had to ask for this feature last time I rented a car.

Mr. Nixon,

You should have no problem using 417, that is the way we go to Old Key West from the Airport, so easy. A very nice 25-30 minute drive.
