How Much Quality Time do you Spend with Your Teenager

I have a 14 year old son and most of our nice talking is after dinner. We all just sit there for about a half an hour and just talk. Its really nice and he and his brothers come to really enjoy this time. Another time we talk is riding home from his track practices, some quiet time for us. Interesting post.

I spend a great deal of time with my dd - she just turned 13 in December. She is my pride and joy and I feel the only way I can guide her and shape her is if we spend time together. And she looks forward to spending that time together with me.

Not nearly as much as I'd like to actually. I guess that's probably a common feeling amoung parents of teenagers though. Between school, work, and her bf, Ashli doesn't have too much time left for good 'ol mom and dad. Right now I am lucky if we spend 45 minutes a day together talking (adding up the minutes before school, after school, during dinner, before going to bed, etc). We used to spend a hour to two everyday....sigh....
