do you drop on your Disney vacation?

I think this year will be the most we have ever spent on our upcoming Disney trip. We are staying at Fort Wilderness for 10 nights, and at $95 a night for a campsite that's a little over $900, and then our tickets will cost us almost $900, plus food and gas and extras. The last 3 years we have went on 10 day non expiring passes, so when I bought them I think they were $1300 and they lasted for 3 years, and we have always stayed off property in a rental home and split the cost with friends who stayed with us.

Just curious to see the low and high end that people pay to go to Disney.

Last trip with a 40% discount( Sept 2008) $4500.( BCV) The cheapest was just after 9/11.I got the Allstars for $39/night..$755 total (meals and tix inc)for just me that does not include airfare because I lived 4 hrs from DIsney at the time.

We are going in thursday for 6 nights with the dining plan, one adult, one child, with one park per day 7 days tickets and through AAA it was 1257.95, staying in disney value resort. Our air fare was 500 total, and I'm planning to keep the extra food and souvenirs to around 300, so a week for around $2000.00.

We will be leaving in about a month, staying at Pop for 7 nts and I think we are spending between $3000-$3500 (2 adults, 2 kids).

...that all depends on how crazy I go in World of Disney store of course!

We're doing the 4/3 special at Port Orleans Riverside, with deluxe dining -- total package price is just under $2700 for a family of 5 (2 under 3). We'll also get the $200 rebate card, which should offset the gratuities on the meals almost exactly.

Driving down, staying in hotels one night each way; but using hotel rewards points for that, so no cost.

Figure $300 for incidentals/souvenirs/etc., and it'll be a pretty round $3k for the week, plus fuel costs for the car.

Our trips are from 7 to 10 days, for a family of three (2 adults and a 15 y.o.)and we generally drop between $3500-$5000 per trip. We have always stayed at deluxe properties, with a discount, or rent points from a DVC owner for a DVC property. This trip we are staying for 10 days on the 4/3 promotion, at CSR (our first moderate), and I think we will end up spending about $3700. That includes airfare, food, towncar transfers, tips, everything.

All-inclusive (Resort, park tickets, flights, food, spending money):

usually no more than $1200CAD per person.

Well, I've done both ends.....I've done POP w/ free dining and spent a total of $2,000 for all 3 of us (usually 6 or 7 nights) and then I've stayed at the Contemporary for 10 nights and spent 4 times that

This trip will end up being roughly $6,000 for the 3 of us. However, we're staying AKL CL, going to Discovery Cove and doing a lot of "extra" things we've never done before.

Wow,
That figure can flucuate all over the place. we're really not budget travelers. So it's not unusal for us to drop 5-6K on a 10 day trip to the world.
Before I purchase my dvc I pretty much stayed deluxe so thats $370/night. We spend ~200 day on meals and incidentals.

My mom and I are spending 3100 total for 7 nights at Yacht Club this June, including air and DDP.

Wow. Mucho moola.

I drop so much money on a Disney vacation that they're STILL sweeping it up. At a minimum it costs me about $1500 pp, which includes airfare, room, tickets, and ddp. Last year I didn't use the DDP but will this year. I found the savings to be negligible.

About $2000-$2500 including air for 2 adults and 1 child. For example, this year:

Rent DVC points for BC (7 nights): $900

Tickets (8 day park hopper):
$750 - $250 (AAA gift certificates from credit card) = $500

Basic Dining Plan: $600

Airfare: $400
------
$2400

Oh my goodness! I'm all about finding the bargain.....we're about to do MLK weekend and will spend less than $2000 on lodging, tickets, food and transportation for 6 adults and 2 kids. We always drive since we live in Georgia. If they hadn't screwed retired reservists under 60 out of the new military promotion, we would have done the trip for less than $1500.

We spend about $3000 to $3,500. That is with air tickets from PA. We stay on property and do the regular dining plan with the hopper and water park options added.

I am thinking we'll spend $2000-2500.

We are staying offsite in a villa and splitting that cost with my parents & sisters. My youngest child is only 2 so she's free to get in.

I had an agent work up a deal for the 4/3 at AS Music and it was almost $2000 for our package and my parents & sisters package was just under $3000. That included the DDP, the basic one, not the deluxe. I hemmed and hawed over what to do but in the end, we decided on the villa over on-site.

I'm almost afraid to add up the cost of our upcoming trip!
We are a family of 6 -
Room = DVC members, no cost for the next 40+ yrs.
Airfare = $1600
Rental car = $160
Groceries delivered to room = $120 (drinks, breakfast, snacks)
Meals = $1000 (avg. of $200 a day, mostly counter service and off property)
Misc = $500 (t-shirts, crappy toys my kids never play with when we get home).

Grand total $3380

We have been to Disney for as little at $2000 and spent as much at $6000 before becoming DVC members.

Lets see,

15 days at the Fort ~1000 on average
Annual passes for me and my son(we make last 2 years) ~ 600ish
Gas (varies, last year it was bad, not sure about 2009) ~450ish
Spending money ~500ish
Extra activities (balloon rides etc..) ~200ish
__________________________________________________________________
~2750ish

Now usally my parents stay with me and sometimes my sister and her kids so..

Tickets (mom and dad) ~450ish
Tickets for sister, niece, and nephew ~ 675ish
Gas for them ~450ish
Spending money ~500ish
______________________________________________________________
~2075ish

So assuming everyone goes.. it's around ~4800ish on the high side but thats not bad for 4 adults and 3 kids (well actually now it's 4 adults 2 Disney adults and 1 kid so it costs a bit more).

All inclusive: $4000 :scared:

2 adults/ 1 child that's counted as an adult
1 day base tix
6 nights @ Poly
we drive to WDW, so that too
Basic ddp
3 day PH ticket for DS (we have some left)
spending money
