I'm staring to get nervous about how much money I need to bring to disney. How much do you all bring? We r staying for a total of 5 days, arriving Mon and leaving Fri. We r staying at AllStar Mov. we plan on eating 2 lunches 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts at the food court there. We have ADR @ CRT, which is paid for all ready. We also have ADR @ Rainforest cafe and chef mickeys which would leave only about 2 meals or so left which will be counter service in the parks. We plan on spending a little on suviners (sp?) but not much maybe $60. I'm planning on brings some snacks from home too. What do you all think? How much should we bring? BTW...we r a family of four. 2 adults, 1 5yr old and a baby. Thanks>

You can put your credit card on file at your resort and charge things to the room with your room key. We usually bring very little cash and charge everything to our room. We are leaving tomorrow and only taking about $100 in cash with us.

We would rather charge everything to the room and pay the visa bill off when we receive it.

How much money to bring? All of it!!!!! :rotfl: $60 for souvenirs will get you one t-shirt and a plush toy for each kid, and nothing for you.

Food prices are about the same everywhere - it's not cheaper to eat at the food court at the resort, BTW.

We've stayed at POP and have done lunch there for under $5 a person. Buy the bread slices and grab some peanut butter and jelly from the condiment stand, WA LAH a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich for $.60 :) This is great for the kids. My husband and I grab the bread and the tuna salad and have lunch for $3-4 a piece then we share some chips. The heat does nothing for our appetites so this is a nice cheap fix around noon.

We do the credit card thing too since we have a Disney Visa card we might as well make some money back while we're off enjoying the greatest place on earth. We use our Disney dollars from the previous years charges for all of our souvenirs and anything we don't want to buy with our own money, we just use what the Visa card awarded to us. Makes buying what we wouldn't normally buy easier, :)

Have a safe trip!

We just came back from a 6 day trip at OKW (family of 4 with 5yo and 2yo) and spent about $100 a day.

We don't "bring" money. There are ATMs all over WDW and they take CCs everywhere. Just easier, IMO, than carrying cash. You might want to bring some cash just to get your through your first CS meals at the food court but I wouldn't bring enough for your whole trip.
