How much ketchup in a month?

One small bottle a yr.
We eat it on a few things, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, breakfast sausages, and think that is it.

katsup lasts us months. granted, there are only two of us, but even when i lived with five people in my mother's house, we would have the same katsup bottle forever!

My youngest eats it like water. I go throught a 32oz bottle a week. She won't eat it if it isn't in the heinz bottle. So now I buy store brand a fill the heinz bottle. She has no idea.
She eats it on every thing. Yesterday she sat and ate slices of cheese and dipped in it. The worse is when she dipps pancakes in it.

Mmmmmm, I would roll balogna and dip it in ketchup.


isn't it way better than mayo? Antioxidants and all. and the super long shelf life.

We use maybe a bottle a year. We use even less mustard, and not much mayo. We do use a lot of margarine though!

My DD use to dip french toast in mustard.

See if mine liked French toast she would put it on it too. Sometimes I get a little grossed out when I see her put it on everything.But my mom gets upset when she puts it on weird stuff.She's eating so I don't care.

Oh my...never thought about how much ketchup we go thorough, but it's a lot! My one DD is a ketchup fanatic...as the saying goes, she "puts ketchup on her ketchup"!
Now I'm on a mission to figure out how much we actually go through!
I know the calories can really add up, so lately I've been trying to buy organic and low sugar or HFCS free ketchup...she doesn't like it as much and uses less, so I guess my devious plan is working!

When I was growing up my family would go through 2-3 bottles of ketchup a year when all four kids were still at home. We only would use hamburgers, fries, hotdogs, steaks, and fried potatoes. I live alone most of the time when my boyfriend isn't gone away on business so they I only use bottle in a year. My boyfriend only likes ketchup on fries.

I need to show this thread to my boyfriend who thinks I use too much ketchup & always gives me crap for it. I alone go through a giant 64oz bottle in about a month or so. I put that stuff on everything...rice, veggies, veggie burgers, soy hot dogs...and I dip my grilled cheese in it too. I also like to dip french toast sticks in ketchup

I put ketchup on hot dogs and hash browns. Of course I have a package of hot dogs every week and a package of hash browns every week, too.

it is hard to say. as my DS2 likes to use "DonDon checheup" (the little packets from McDs) so I save the ones we dont open. But we go thru a lot...not as much as the rest of you, but a lot.
Weirdest thing we use it on is probably grilled cheese.

Papa Duece you should know it's a Pennsylvania thing! And it has to be Heinz the other brands just don't compare. Can't figure out why they taste so different but oh they do. I have had strangers pass our table in restaurants and ask me if I like fries with my ketchup If you can actually see a fry under the ketchup then I don't have enough.
