How much ketchup in a month?

I may go through a bottle a year now that it is just DH and me. When my kids were home I went through 2 bottles of ketchup a week. That was mostly DD who will eat anything as long as there is a little food with her ketchup. She uses it on everything but pizza.

it is hard to say. as my DS2 likes to use "DonDon checheup" (the little packets from McDs) so I save the ones we dont open. But we go thru a lot...not as much as the rest of you, but a lot.
Weirdest thing we use it on is probably grilled cheese.

Not weird at all. I love 'em that way! :goodvibes

We go through about 1 large bottle a month. DD7 and DD4 both like it, plus DH and I put it on hotdogs and hamburgers.

I used to buy cheaper brands when I was broke and in college, but now I splurge and only buy Heinz. I've read the ingredients, and the cheaper ones had water as the main ingredient whereas Heinz has tomatoes as the main ingredient.

As a kid I used to put it on kernel corn (niblets) which I now think is disgusting.:lmao:

Three kids & a dh who love ketsup with almost every meal.

Lots. I buy the 3 pack from BJ's, well 2 of them every time I go.

I think we go thru a bottle every 2 weeks.

I was just eating hash browns for dinner and I have to change my answer. I go through one 24 ounce bottle every week, not one 48 ounce bottle every week.

If we actually could save the bottle, like if it didn't have an expiration date, maybe 1 medium size bottle every, hmm, 3-5 years? We all like it well enough, but really only on say a cheeseburger, hot dog, or, in my kids case, chicken nuggets and fish sticks. But we eat those foods maybe 1-2 times a year each. Well the nuggets my son has for lunch often, but the amount of ketchup he uses is minimal. So we like it, but just don't use a ton.

Those of you who use an insane amount of ketchup, and are not making tons of BBQ sauce, what the heck are you using it on!?! I just can't think of a need for it with any meals we routinely eat. Regular fish (as in not fish sticks), no, most chicken dishes we make, no, (other than a plain chicken breast, but again, only my kids would use it then, but we rarely eat just plain chicken), steak, no (I could see other sauces, but not ketchup), pork chops, no, pasta, no. I think part of it is that we typically use a marinade on all fish/meats so the ketchup would take away from the flavor.
