how much ketchup does your family use?

Wow, I can't believe how much ketchup some people use.

We may use (4) 28 oz bottles a year, but when we do it's has to be Heinz.

We buy the big ol' Sam's Club bottles too, and go thru about 8-10 a year.

Probably 1 bottle every 3 weeks. MOstly because my 4 year old uses the self serve method, he'll accidently dump half a bottle onto the plate.

3 - 4 bottles a year. More since I went veggie and it took some time to find new things to eat. I was eating veggie burgers and chick patties at least once a day.

I'm always surprised when we're out of ketchup. It's just not something I think about. I will however, buy extra if I find the bottles with the funny sayings on them. They're too cute to pass up!

What on earth do you people use ketchup on where you consume THAT much. Geez. A bottle last us a year, unless a make a sauce, then that equals to bottles. The standard size.

I also need to check the date since we use so little maybe two bottles a year. I can only eat it on fries and can always think of tastier things to put on them, like cheese. By the way, would anyone like to share their bbq sauce recipe?

Let's say we're eating rice, potatoes, and meat. My 3 kids will put ketchup on the rice, potatoes, and meat. Pretty gross at times but they enjoy it. Me and DH usually dip any meat in ketchup. It goes pretty quick in our family

I chose other because I have no clue how much we use. It does seem like I am always buying it! We only use Heinz, I am a kethcup snob. My youngest DD eats ketchup with everything, chicken, pork, steaks. She even makes ketchup sandwiches.

We eat very little ketchup. I can't even remember when I bought the last bottle. I usually have to check the expiration date to make sure it is still good!

I voted one a week. We usually get one of those giant ones at the grocery store and it usually lasts 2 weeks. The problem is that when my husband has something he wants to dip in ketchup (he dips everything, even burgers), he takes a dessert plate and piles it with ketchup.

Then, when I load the dishwasher, I rinse 90% of it down the drain!

DS4 loves ketchup and it's it with almost everything. DS1 is starting to develop a taste for it too. So we go through about a bottle a month.

At home it's used very rarely. Sometimes if we make burgers, but mostly to make BBQ sauce, but even that's pretty rare.
