How much is your cable bill?

We pay $76 for internet and basic cable. I'd love to get rid of cable too except that would make my internet to go up ( to the same price as if I still had cable), because they are no longer bundled.

Comcast here
Double Play (Digital Starter, HBO, Streampix, On Demand, Blast Internet)
Wireless gateway
Anyroom DVR
HD Tech Fee
Digital Preferred
Sports Entertainment Package
Service Plan Protection

$123.87 before taxes, add another $20 for those

We have Sudenlink and our bill is nearly 200 a month. For internet 2 DVR. We are trying to do away with.cable. Just doing Netflix and July and getting a good antenna.
Suddenlink was recently bought by another company IIRC. Have you noticed any changes in your service since then? (Negative or positive)

I have been playing the comcast game for ages. Everytime my contract expires, I call them and ask for lower rates. I tell them what introductory rates are and they always come within $10 of matching them. So if introductory triple play rates are $99, they will lower mine to $109 plus all those service charges and extra box fees. They always want a new 24 month agreement. It ends up at about $150/month for triple play with no premium channels. I want to try to switch companies but I have heard horror stories about other internet options.

Comcast is considered one of the most hated companies in the country. I think only Monsanto gets worse reviews. The employees I have talked with lately at Comcast have been super nice and helpful. I think they are trying to improve their reputation a bit.

$52 Dollars for my Directv with 4 DVR's
$40 dollars for my internet

Maryland here. With tax, about $85 a month for FIOS 100/100 mbps, and basic cable, we get local channels and food network, freeform, animal planet, etc. We bought our router over renting it to save money, something I encourage people to look at - we'll be ahead on the up front cost after about a year. We have one set top box in HD and one non-HD we got for free by signing up online. No DVR, it would be nice but not worth $10 a month for us when we can just use their built-in on demand to see what we missed with a few commercials. We have cell phones only, no landline.

Directv $150 right now since we have NFL ticket. We also have a ton of tvs. 7 I think.
I'd love to ditch it but that is non negotiable for the hubs. Hoping when their new service comes out he will consider that.

$75 for AT&T gigabyte internet service.

We're at 162$ for HD Xfinity thru Comcast . That includes Blast Internet (150mbps) and all the channels including HBO, Showtime , etc . It started out at around 125$ but had since creeped up as they always do . In fact we went ditched or cable but still had to keep Internet thru Comcast for a while because they had gotten so expensive . That was fine until it started inching it's way up to , i think it started at around 80$, by th the end of a year or so it had gotten up there enough that it ended up being like 15 bucks to add cable with every premium channel and increase our net speed. I really hate the games they play !

Dish bill is $112 for 2 DVRs and 1 regular receiver. America's top 250 package. No premium channels, seems like there is a free preview of those every 6 weeks, and never anything on those channels I want to watch. Okay not totally true, there seem to be a lot of 30 and 40 year old movies on HBO and Showtime that just ran on free TV the week before.
ATT internet $56.
ATT landline $40.

ATT was always trying to get us to bundle everything with Dish Network, never did. Wonder how they are handling all those folks who did now that they own DirecTv?

We're South Jersey (Maple Shade) and have FIOS. After discounts our current total is $140 a month - internet is $55 and TV comes to $75. That is with only one SD box (because paying extra for an HD box was ticking me off).

In 2 rooms we just use digital antennas and get good reception so we're thinking of ditching the TV portion of the FIOS and checking out other options people have posted. For the little we watch it, it pains me to pay what we do (and considering the highway robbery I call our Verizon wireless bill, I'm sick of giving them my money.)

We're in a fairly rural area in upstate NY and our only option is Time Warner. We were paying almost $80 just for high speed internet and streaming Netflix & Hulu. We just changed to a bundle this past weekend which includes 200+ channels, DVR, the same high speed internet and a phone line (which I could care less about, but there wasn't an option to remove, of course) for $109 + taxes.

Since there's no competition, we really don't have much bargaining room. But I feel like we're getting a little more for our money with the bundle vs. paying $80 just for internet.

Ours is $134. We have basic cable (22 channels, but about 6 are local crap/infomercials) and internet.

Don't get me started on my Verizon wireless bill. I think I'm only ok with it because I get 22% off through my job but I still pay a fortune.

While DH is still working and I sit home alone a lot ( hoping to retire in about 7 years), entertainment is a splurge for me that I continue to pay for with my retirement funds. Our compromise is complete cord cutting at the lake/retirement house we visit on weekends.

Condo is Comcast XOne with high speed internet and phone, three premium channels, Streampix and all that with two boxes...$264.78. Lake house...$0.
