How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Trip for 2 adult 2 kids at CRS from February 1-8 with 6 day base and dinning. $3200 plus flights from Seattle ret $1000, total $4200 plus hotel from Vancouver $150 and spending and tips from dinning? $4600?

This is what I'm budgeting since I haven't booked yet.

6 night stay at the poly for 5/19-5/25 with 30% passholder discount 2520.00
airfare from philly to Orlando, 3 adults 1077.00
food budget for the trip. 1000.00

Total 4597.00

We have our annual passes so we don't need tickets for this trip.

If I don't get a 30% discount, I'll use my dvc points and stay at the Beach club for free.

Pop Jan. 25th-Feb. 2nd

2 Adults, Stay, Dine, Play package 9 days with hoppers

$2125 + Airfare $750

Hi Zoronqueen!

Is your plan to bring $250 for spending money and tipping? If so, I would caution you that you might blow through that amount in no time, especially for a full week at WDW with two kids.

:cool1:

After reason all these posts I feel like I paid too much hmm I wonder why? :(

Dates of travel: May 17-24
Resort: BLT
Room type: 2BR
Our group: 2 adults, 2 kids (5 + 8)
Tickets: 1 AP (me) + 3 7-day park hoppers
Dining plan: none
Trip insurance: No
Special Offers: resort booking is via an RCI exchange

This is a good exercise in forcing myself to calculate our costs for this trip. Total including tickets, lodging, gas/tolls, and food is around $3300. This incorporates savings from upgrading unused tickets we have on hand. The lodging cost includes our maintenance fees on the timeshare we used to trade into BLT, plus RCI exchange fee and Disney RCI fee. Dining includes the 4 ADRs we have, otherwise expecting most lunches to be QS in the parks and several dinners cooked in the unit. We may add another ADR for just me and DH, and the total doesn't include that extra TS meal or the kids club/sitter we'd have to get for the kids. Doesn't include souvenirs. Probably forgot other costs, but that's most of it.

I'm same. But it's all my fault. I'm going during the peak of the Christmas rush. Had to. Wife wouldn't allow us to go at any other time.

I am so happy we are a large family and can't stay on-site anymore. Those prices are absurd!!

WALT DISNEY WORLD - 09/14 – 09/22
$ 104 - COUNTRY INN HOTEL ROOM (TRIP DOWN)
+1,512 - WYNDHAM BONNET CREEK – 3 BDRM PRESIDENTIAL SUITE
+2,150 - 7 DAY STANDARD TICKETS
+2,500 - FOOD/SOUVENIRS
$6,266

I think the better way to compare peoples costs is to take total cost of resort, tickets, food and airfare, divided by number of days then divided by number of people. That gives a cost per person per day. Then state if its at a value, moderate, deluxe or offsite. We can then quickly make comparisons to the deals made.

agreed....I did this in my last post..:thumbsup2 and I'm quite pleased with my total,I like to figure out my "all inclusive" price :rotfl2: (kind of like a quote for a cruise, only on dry land)

oops...forgot to input (Dolphin) so I call it a mod/deluxe stay

Including food? Using the Stay, Dine, Play package at a Value it comes to $2650 for 3 people for 9 days. Plus airfare of $1150 (no good deals) we get $140 per person per day. One person may not go which would increase the amount to $165 per person per day. Almost what you're paying for a DLX!! Sheesh!!

Yes, including food! We don't do the dining plan, so we pay OOP using the TiW card. And, we have a 40% off military discount on the resort. :goodvibes

not necessarily, when you calculate cost per person, per day,all included.... it depends on number of people in your party....

We spent $301/pp for our stay this Oct/Nov. 7 days for 2 people at a mod...... yeah we way overspent! LOL Then again, in our defense, it was F&WF and our first trip with my DD over 21...... It was a more fluid filled trip than previous trips had been. :lmao:

Broken down, $118 pp/day for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids), 7 days, in a 2BR deluxe villa. This includes transportation (driving from GA).
