How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

some of these posts just crack me up...thanks for the smile with my morning coffee!:rotfl2: I especialy like the 'eating dirt' post....:rotfl:
Lots of variations here, but to be 'true' to the title, you should try to include ALL trip costs,so if it's a timeshare, etc trade,or partially used tix or AP, it's more to the spirit of things to include the cost-usage (if you can figure it out)
B/C as much as I'd like it to be true, it costs WAY more than just a hotel price to do Disney.....:thumbsup2

ok...4 peeps,all disney 'adults'
8 nites Dolphin
7 day PH+ tickets(includes a YES class for one ds)
oop food(almost all QS)
SWA flights FREE
total cost 2916.00 (plus add incidentals like dogsitter + airport parking)
b/c some of this is oop, it is approximate, but it will be about this cost, not too bad for over a week of fun for 4!:cool1:

to do the breakdown.....
that's 1136.00 for hotel :cool1:
980.00 for park tix :cool1:
800.00 qs food (approx.):cool1:
20.00 flights (taxes etc):cool1:
so technically more like 2926.00 for 8 nights....:cool1:
...If we go over on food somewhat that's fine, that's just what I've got as an average:cool1:

I am at my tipping point when it comes to going to WDW. My family has taken 12 trips since our DS was 6 (he is now 20). Our last trip was sans DS and the trip DH and I are taking in January 2014 likely will be our last. We travel frequently for pleasure (In 2014 we will spend just over 6 weeks traveling: 1 week at WDW, 10 nights in Palm Springs, 2 weeks in Colorado, and 2 weeks in Maui), and I really have gotten to the point where the value at WDW just isn't what it used to be. I know many will disagree with me. Anyway, here is our likely budget for our next trip:

7 nights AKV studio, SV (105 points at $13 per point) = $1365
Airfare on SWA = $480
Town car transfer = $105
La Quinta hotel (park, fly stay...night before our flight) = $105
2 5-day park hoppers through Undercover Tourist = $700
Food (estimate; likely not doing the DDP this trip) = $1000
Extras (mainly tips) = $100
Total = $3855

I do have about $850 in Chase Disney rewards so OOP costs will be around $3K.

Too Much!

December 14-20th at WL. will be our 6th trip this year.

My wife and I usually take 3-4 solo trips and take our Daughters and their families at least twice annually. (Both have a Husband and one - 1 yr old each) We all have annual passes and I'm not including flights & car service.

AP's for Six = $3900
Feb: Wife and me: BWV - $3500
April: Wife and me: GF: $4500
July: All - BC - 3 Rooms: $12,000
Sept: Wife and me: POLY - $4000
Oct: Wife and me: AKL - $4000
Dec: All - WL - $10,000

Like I said, too much. :faint:
