How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Usually we try to be very frugal, but this is THE trip for our family so we are going all out:yay: It will be 6 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 1). Most of us have annual passes and some are local and don't need airfare. Here is what we figured.

Originally - 2 rooms BC CL, airfare for 4, 2- 9day adult PH tickets, with $2000 figured in for dining, the total was $12809:crazy2:

But now with the pin room only discount it is $9571

Savings of $3238.

I like the savings but this is still a lot of money.

Next trip will have to be a value LOL

Well spend under 2000 for 14 days including gas, suvies, hotel, tix, and food for a family of 3.

That's my goal for the WDW Marathon '14. Two weeks for under $2k including entrance fees for the Marathon.

I'm thinking about staying off property in an extended stay/Studio 6 motel in Kissimmee, renting a car, cooking some meals, and upgrading our Disneyland Annual Pass to one that is good in both California and Florida. The only cost that would not be included in that $2k quote would be airfare from Los Angeles.

We come to WDW every year so here is our latest trip:
For 3 Adults:

March 2-Pop Century
March 3-March 7 Boardwalk Villa studio pool/garden view.

About $1600 just for the rooms.

We drive down since my father isn't allowed to fly and both my mom and I have annual passes. Mine is going to expire in Dec but I'm just going to get a 5 day park hopper now and convert to a pass when we get down there. Its easier to pay for that way instead of trying to renew my pass:thumbsup2. We aren't doing the dining plan since so many restaurants were taken off, and have found Tables in Wonderland to be more cost effective. Can't wait to go and start planning our December trip.

May 14 through may 19 2 adults 1 child (5) pop preferred room with 4 day tickets and regular dining $2300. We drive since we live only an hour away! Planning on using the Disney buses so only $60 for gas! Giving our daughter $75 gift card for what she wants like shirts and junk lol...

oh my gosh, i've just done the calculation and i knew it was a lot-but i'm shocked :)

have not shared with anyone else-dh has a "rough" idea -so here it goes-

3 adults, 1 child (16)

17 nights at pofq (august) and 14 nights also booked for the same period at a townhouse as we like the disney perks (emh, free qsdp) but also the space (3 bedrooms, living area, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, laundry) a villa/townhouse provides.

accommodation-
pofq-$3314.37
offsite townhouse-$1056.55-(2 bed villa at okw/ssr would've cost $8243.79!)
flights-$5083.83
airport hotel and parking-$383.71
disney tickets-$1824.19
rental car-$692.36
universal tickets-$727.38
spending money for gas, extra food and all other fun-$2700

which makes a grand total of $15,782.39-wowsa!! :rotfl:

looks like :santa: won't be very busy this year! :rotfl2:

wow! that's fabulous, you must be so excited :cool1::cool1:

I stopped adding up when I reached £8,000 ($12,800)! :rotfl2:

6 nights at Renaissance Hotel @ SeaWorld : swimming with the Dolphins at Discovery Cove part of the plan

4 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel for Universal

Finished off with 11 nights at the Poly.

Plus the airfare for 3 of us from the UK (which is hurting a lot nowadays).

And I'm thinking about splashing out even more for a club room at the Poly - shall I do it? :confused3

I was determined to make this a trip of a lifetime for the family.

That sounds absolutely amazing!!! :cloud9:

I guess when you travel so far, you have to really make it worth it! :goodvibes

If you can afford CL, you should give it a shot! I think that it would be a really nice pampering for the last 11 nights of your trip. ::yes::

My fiance and I are going on a 2-week Disneymoon and this is the damage so far...

We get married on 2/16 and will leave the next morning for WDW:

Flight - Virgin America & Delta - $481.82 (my dad let us use his points to pay for a lot of the flight)
2/17 - AOA Little Mermaid Room - $202.50
2/18-2/24 - Beach Club Villa Studio (rented points) - $1,508
2/24-2/28 - Disney Dream Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah - $2,192.60
2/28-3/3 - Coronado Springs Resort King Room Water View - $578.06 (after a Disney Visa Discount)
Flight/Hotel/Cruise Total - $4,962.98

We are not going to be on the dining plan, and haven't purchased park tickets yet. I am thinking I will be investing in the Premier Passport (since I usually have the Premium AP at Disneyland) that way I can get a Tables in Wonderland card for discounts on food. Plus we are also renting a car for the week we are at the Beach Club Villas since we want to go to Universal and explore Orlando a little bit. I am pretty much figuring another $1,500-$2,000 will go into this trip, making the grand total somewhere near $7,000. :faint: But hey, it's our honeymoon so why not go all out?

I'm guesstimating that our 2013 trip will cost about £4000 again. That includes 3 Gatwick-MCO flights with Virgin Atlantic, 10 nights at our usual condo, 10 day MYW base tickets for Disney, Universal tickets, Seaworld/Discovery Cove/Aquatica tickets, car, spending money for food and other stuff and assorted stuff like parking. I'm paying for a meal at 'Ohanas for mum's birthday :) (approximately $6431!)

November 10 - 15, 2013 at POR Garden View Room
5 nights/6 days
5 MYW tickets with PH
DDP (HOPING FOR FREE DINING):yay:
TOTAL $ 3336.00
Hotel stay in Orlando 11/09/12 $90.00
Gas $200.00 :moped:
Misc. for food $150.00 :stir:
