How much is your 2012 Disney Vacation costing this year?

Hm, let's see:

2 adults - me and mom

3 nights ASSP and 3 nights Yacht Club in September - $969
Rental car (booked on points but need to pay for insurance) - $100
Tickets - $0 (I have an AP that I've already used for 8 days and Mom has comp tickets)
Flights - $0 (SW CC, baby - RT flights for us both with points left over!)

So, $1069 for two adults, and I have a $140 disney gift card that will probably go towards the room! Can't wait for our first stay at YC!
 
Our 2012 Disney world vacation is also our Disney wedding/honeymoon trip... So it's costing us ALOT!:sad2:

We are having a wedding for 30 people at the wedding pavilion, reception at GF, and dessert party at Epcot for Iluminations. We are also having a rehearsal dinner at Narcoussee's and a farewell brunch at Cape May. We are staying at GF for 4 nights and AKL for 3 nights with the deluxe dining plan. But I'm sure it will be very magical and I am sooooooooo excited I can't hardly wait!!!!
 
Let's see...I think it is around $1800.00 for 2 adults and 1 teen for 6 nights at Pop, 6 day hoppers and "free" dining. $730.00 for round trip air, nonstop. And $422.00 for the 3 of us to do Keys to the Kingdom and the Segway tour at EPCOT. So we are close to 3K. And when I get there and can't resist a few cute souvenirs, we'll probably hit that and then some!
 
Not too bad...our per day cost is about $20-$50 more than when we visited in January 2011.

I booked in September 2011 for September 16-26 2012.

Total, just a squeak over $4000 for a $400 per day average. In 2011, we spent $1600 plus $900 for 7 nights POR, free dining, and flights. That's $2500 or $357 a day.
 

i'm going back down for christmas this year and its not too bad i guess for 1 person.

could quote the old commercial with all the prices, but really.....Disney at Christmas with my DH and kids away from the snow and cold.......Priceless!
 
11/1-11/6 Free Dining trip with DD and a friend:

Preferred room at All Star Music for 5 nights, Free QS Dining and 3 5-day adult base tickets: $1230 for me and DD ($1515 package total, but friend will pay for her ticket amount of $285).

Extra $$ for snacks, breakfasts, meals on the road, food from home, etc: $100 (for me and DD, friend will bring her own $)

Souvenirs: $50 (DD and her friend are responsible for their own spending $)

Gas for round trip from NC (assuming $3.50/gal): $135

TOTAL: $1515 for DD and me, $285+ spending $$ for friend

We are opting to get a rental car as well as we will be attending LegoLand for the Lego Drop on New Years Eve and we want a little more freedom with coming / going to places than the shuttle will allow with little ones. Budgeted under $400 for this as we are Costco members and I found a nice discount through them.

Oh yeah and we will be pre-purchasing Phot Pass again. So that's another expense but minimal compared to the rest of the trip lol.

This was a lot better than what we originally had planned. We were budgeting $1600 for airfare but thanks to E-mail alerts I got a -31% drop one morning and we jumped on it. Now it's back up to $1600 and still rising. Originally we had planned staying at AOA from Dec. 19 - 27 and switching to an offsite location for the rest of our stay. When the Free Dining was extended we jumped at switching resort to POP Century, upgraded the free dining, and are now able to stay on sit for the full stay and it is actually less than what it would cost us to switch to another off site hotel AND meals are included :).

Never in my life did I think we would be spending $$$ and at Christmas time for vacation. But hubby gets vacation assigned to him and we have to use it when he gets it. Just so happens it works out with the kids time off school as well.

Some people are giving us flack about the cost, but dang it

WE DESERVE THIS THOUGH!....we will be replacing some souvenirs as well from our Disneyland trip as we had a house fire and LOST EVERYTHING. And as an added plus some will be reimbursed through insurance when we supply receipts for items replaced.

Now if we could only find those Disney Giftcards with the $10 bonus card lol...that would make it so much better for us

Our total this trip for three is $2700, three airline tickets from Texas and six days five nights at CBR and four parks.

Last trip we had four people, four airline tickets, four days five nights at CBR and two parks for $2300.

It is more this time, but the airfare was more and the cost of extra days at the park was more.

Totally worth it though!

We are going June 3 checking out June 9th 2013. 2 adults 2 kids 13 and 11 who are priced as adults on the dining plan. We have the basic dining plan 1QS 1SD and 1snack pd. 7 day park hopper. Staying @ POFQ. we are paying around $4100. That does not include our gas for driving down from OH.
From what I am looking at a lot of you are getting great deals.
