How Much Is Too Much For A Buffet?

Maybe not to you, but I pay $25 for a rouladen dinner at German restaurants. Last year I had 5 roulades at Biergarten. Once again, I never made it to the dessert side. Hmmmmmmmmm.
Consider on the dining plan both are 1 credit. Doesn't make much sense, but them's the rules.

If you go for the last lunch seating like we do (3:10PM) they usually start adding the dinner items around 4:00PM.

Disney will simply keep increasing prices for their buffets as long as there are people willing to pack them out and pay for them.

Yes, it's a lot, but you do get extra value meeting the characters by having them come to you, which lets you save time meeting characters in the park. So, I see it as paying a bit extra so that I can get better value out of my theme park visits.

and, as I stated in a previous post, I could understand this for character buffets. do one breakfast or dinner, etc, get a bunch of pics. autographs, bingo! done!

I was talknig about buffets such as Boma, (can't even see the animals from there) or cape may dinner (no charachters, only at breakfast)

I agree that the buffet prices are kinda high, but I am on vacation so I expect to pay more. However, we usually do the Biergarten and do the lunch buffet because it is cheaper and has amost the same items.

Maybe what has spoiled me is having a car so we can eat off-site. I can go have a great dinner for 4 for about the cost of one buffet.

It would be one thing if the food they were serving was exceptional, like at Boma, but it's not. Couple of years ago we ate a Chef Mickey's and we were sooo disappointed in the food being served. I was expecting cullinary delights for the price.
