How much is gasoline in your neighborhood these days?

I just paid $1.67 this morning for regular unleaded here.

I paid $1.81 for the middle grade a few days ago.

Last night regular was 1.57, it was up to 1.59 which at that time I was paying 1.54 at Sams.

Filled up today with regular unleaded at $1.439. That's up 2 cents from what I paid over the weekend.

I can still find it for 1.59 but mostly 1.64 to 1.67, ugh!

On Sunday I filled up for $1.48. On Tuesday the price shot up$.25!! It was $1.73...I was so glad I filled my tank! (I live in Ohio)

The cheapest is abt $1.72.

CT has very high gas taxes, something like 30-40 cents per gallon.

Just got gas a few minutes ago. $1.48 for reg. unleaded in Houston where gas is made! I have no idea why it is so high right now!!

Here we go again (myself included), whining about gasoline prices. I can still remember my visit to Europe in 1997 where I was paying the equivalent of $5.00 per gallon of gasoline!!!

Still, I must admit that it pains me to watch the price jump 25 cents a gallon in a single day. Whenever I see that happen, I always rush home to see if we've declared war on somebody.

John , I can perfectly identify with that, being from Spain myself, $1.67 feels like a real bargain for almost 5 liters of gasoline. Why do you think a lot of people have small cars in Europe? not only because of the big cities and the parking situation, but mostly because of the gasoline prices. ACK!!!

I'm with you Towncrier! I asked my SIL in NC if her gas ever jumps 20-30 cents in one day, and she was shocked! But that's just what happened here Tuesday--I filled up Monday for $1.38 and Tuesday afternoon it was $1.73! There is absolutely no reason for it.

Gas here is $1.79 for regular unleaded. I too get honked off when gas jumps up so high..........we have been averaging around $1.64, but it got down to about $1.58 then the next day shot up to the $1.79.
