How much is gas where you live?

2 weeks ago we paid $2.00 and now it is from 2.46-2.58

All because spring break is happening.

Why our congressmen are not doing anything about this is beyond me.
There is only one excuse......GREED!!!

I forget if it was $2.29 or $2.39. AUGH!! Why are they up so much so fast? I cut it off at 5 gallons when it was $12.01. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Anywhere from $2.59-2.75. :sad2:

When I went to work gas was $2.29. When I came home it was $2.39.

Jenz, do you know the one on Rte 152 I'm talking about, that used to do self/full serve, same price? I used to try to wait until I went there on the way to mom's to get gas, because their prices always seemed good compared to other stations. I'm not sure how they're handling the recent increases tho.

Also, there's one on Rte 1 (or is it 1A??) past Cardis, heading towards ESM, that was always good, but haven't been that way in a while. It's a grungy looking place, but :confused3. AND they pumped it. :)

Ah yes. I used to go to the one on 152 whenever I went to Briggs or my Grandparents' and needed gas. It was such a luxury to have it pumped for me at the same price. :goodvibes They haven't been too cheap lately. I also used to go to TriBoro Gulf because we know the owners and my parents live down the street but that's been at least a few cents higher than home I would say since Thanksgiving.

I see it's gone up for some people this afternoon. I didn't think to look on my way home. I could only imagine how much it is now. Guess I'm not going to be driving around much next week :sad2:

In Cameron, TX gas was $2.39 for reg unleaded this morning. This evening the same gas station is now up to $2.49.

A couple of days ago I noticed prices going up so I filled up for $2.29, today I passed and it was up to $2.49! I hate these rising prices!

I don't look....I just pump until it's full and stick the receipt in my purse to balance later when I can sit down LOL

I did however have a nightmare the other night that I'd pumped 6 gallons and looked up at the pump and it said 45.00!!!!! I stopped pumping immediately and rushed home to tell my husband how upset I was to have spent that much. <wiping forhead> glad that was a dream.....wasn't it?

In South Florida, yesterday it was $2.55 (was complaining until I remembered because of the accident I don't have a CAR to put gas in so what do I care?)..

Woke up this morning and it's flown up to between $2.69 - $2.77 a gallon! Wow!

I am in SW FL. On my way to work this morning (8am) it was $2.55, on my way home (3pm) same gas station...it was $2.69. Last week it was $2.26

Here in Charlotte metro area, the gas prices have gone from $2.13 two weeks ago to $2.48 tonight. I just have to luugh about it, or I might cry- there is no reason for it, other than Spring Break, as far as I can see. :sad2:

I paid $2.59 this morning at one station, and on the way home this evening at a different station it was only $2.49. They must not have raised their price yet.

I always try to fill up on WDW property when we make our weekly trips - it has always been at least .05/gallon cheaper, and at one point it was .09/gal cheaper

Weds I got it for 2.11 when all the other stations were already up to 2.19, today I saw the pumps going up to 2.24 and higher. I was still able to get it for 2.19. Last month it was 1.99, this is crazy!!!

Too freaking much!

It is anywhere from $2.47 to $2.69 for regular unleaded.

Just last Friday I got gas for $2.17.

Why did it go up again?

This is the posted pricing at the Exxon station across the street from Lawlor Event Center on the University of Nevada Reno Campus:

Reg $2.59
Mid-grade $ ARM
Premium $LEG

It is $2.50-$2.60 all over town
