How much in tolls on 417 from Pop Century till end

Hello. Would like to get on Route 417 North from Osceola Parkway (near Pop Century) and take it all the way up till it ends and meets I-4.

Does anyone know how much it would cost in tolls? I do have a Sunpass which I've never used yet........

That depends on traffic. I-4 may be faster than 417 if it's moving well.

You think I-4 might be faster than 417? I don't know 417 at all, but I-4 is crazy till you get out of the Orlando area. Hoping someone else chimes in too. I'd rather then save the $7.50 and stick with I-4. I would be looking for the fastest route as I have to get DH home for a golf tournament

We use wyze, we rarely take toll roads. When it shows me routes it may only save me 2 mins.. sometimes its longer.

I would not recommend this, I-4 is the more direct route and toll free, 417 veers far to the eastern suburbs of Orlando prior to looping back around via Sanford and connecting back with I-4, IMO it is not worth the extra cost in tolls and if there is any savings in time traveled it would be minimal at best.

Always check Google Maps or Waze just before you leave. Of course an incident can mess things up while your en route, but Google is pretty up-to-date on traffic conditions at the time you request a route. When I wrote my reply, Google was showing I-4 as 10 minutes faster than 417.

Some people prefer 417 because it's an easier drive than I-4, but as PP's have said, it's also a longer drive.

Remember I-4 is under construction - and that's on top of it being one of the most congested highways in the country. I agree with the above - check Google maps with traffic turned on to see conditions. You can save $7 and get through 10 minutes faster, but it also could be 30 minutes longer or more.

Thank you all for your responses. I travel down a handful of times a year and always wondered if there was a "better" alternative to I-4....as that road scares the heck out of me with the construction. But, for this one trip, time is of the essence and I'll stick with I-4....but thanks for the heads up on checking WAZe before I leave. I NEVER think to do that....and have cursed myself sitting in traffic more than once! LOL

That depends on traffic. I-4 may be faster than 417 if it's moving well.

I find even with traffic looking bad, which in reality does move well, is still fastest and the tolls are less.

Not sure where you’re traveling to, but I can’t imagine cutting it so close in order to make the difference of getting to his golf tournament. Perhaps leave a bit earlier..??
