How much does food cost at Six Flags?

DD is going on a field trip to Six Flags Atlanta. I need to send money with her to pay for her lunch and dinner.

I'm used to Disney prices, but someone said 6 Flags is more expensive??

How much do I need to send with her?

I haven't been in awhile, but I would send at least $10 to $15 per meal. They have a meal plan now, so you might want to check it out on their website.

We just returned from there earlier in the week. We packed sandwiches for our kids and returned to the parking lot and had a picnic. We actually were able to use 2 picnic tables there. Food on average is $10 plus drink for a simple meal such as hotdog, hamburger, chicken, pizza. I noticed that at the front gate the papa johns had a meal for 4 pizzas and 4 drinks for $40.00. Water was $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00. The refillable mugs were $13.00 each with free refills all day, but if you bought 3 at the same time they were $9.00 each. Icees were $5.50. Just a thought.

We have found that the worst prices were at 6 Flags ( to be fair we have never been to Atlanta) and Cedar Point. Many times DH would say, this is more then Disney! So I agree with your friend who told you it is worse. Seems to me a 0 oz soda was $3.

..........a basic funnel cake serving with no options was 9 bucks at the Six Flags Whitewater here in Atlanta just a couple of days ago. Ouch!!

and I almost cried paying $9.50 for a funnel cake with hot fudge and ice cream at Epcot, I guess I made out for that price compared to six flags
