Just wondering whether we spend 'too much' on groceries. There are 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids) and we spend between £80 and £90 a week. This includes food and sundries, like toilet roll, washing powder, dishwasher tabs etc. for a week.
I think what bumps up our shopping bill is that we buy a lot of fresh meat and a lot of 'luxury' items.
We did cut it down from over £100 a week when we started shopping online and getting it delivered. Even with the delivery charge, we're still saving almost £100 per month. I'm trying to think of ways to cut it down more (other than starving the children of course
)
So, how much do you spend in a week, for how many people and what bumps up your grocery bill the most?
