Gee I knew this wasn't a good idea to write it down! :scared1: :lmao:

DW and i will be spending 10 days at pop century with park hopper/water park passes and dinning plan (we paid for it) will be doing 2 MNSSHP's and it will cost us about $2500. got a nice discount with AAA. now to enclude gas and some spending cash looks like a total of $3300. no bad if i say so.

When we went the first time in Jan 2005 it was costly. There were 2 adults, a 14 yr, 12 yr, 9 yr, & a 6 wk old.

We stayed off site for 17 nights.

Hotel 2000.00
Flights from Seattle to Orlando 2000.00
7 day park hoppers 2000.00
City Pass ( US, SW, & W&W) 1000.00
Travel to and from Airport (home to Seattle) 500.00
Shuttle to hotel from airport (orlando) 100.00
Meals 2125.00
Souveniers 1000.00
Dinner Shows 600.00

I know I'm forgetting things because we spent about 15,000.00 and this only adds up to $ 11, 325.00

Our next trip in Sept 2007 for free dining we are only bring 1 child with us and plan to spend about 5,000.00 with flights and everything for 7 nights at Pop.

December 2007 we will be spending about 11,000.00 again if not more for 7 of us. 8 nights at Pop with dining plan, MVMCP, 2 nights room only at Pop, and 5 nights on site at Universal Studios.

1 night offsite - La Quinta = $75
4 nights at Coronado Springs @ $105.00 (got the 40% discount code) = 420
4 day park tickets (no options) for 2 adults, 1 child= $600
1 day water park ticket for 3 = $112.00
Food for the week = $200
Gas = $200
Souvenirs = $100

Total around $1700 for 2 adults, 2 children (one under age of three)

We generally spend between $3500-$4000 for our family of three (me, DH and DS-age 13). That includes:

Airfare
7 or 8 nights at a WDW deluxe (w/code/discount) or DVC (renting points)
Meals, snacks and a few alcoholic drinks
Park hoppers
Towncar transfer (round trip from/to MCO/WDW)
Hotel (one night sleep & fly before we leave for WDW), or airport parking
Tips
Souvenirs (we buy very few)

This upcoming 7-night trip will likely be around $4300, as we are adding on MNSSHP and Blue Man Group.

When we went in April (Spring Break), for me, DH, DS (age 3), DD (age 18 mo) and DNiece (19), staying in CBR for 7 nights, w/ 7 day Hopper + DDP, airfare, airport parking, tips and souvenirs= $6450. I actually came home with $60 in my pocket, but I also used my Disney rewards card ($325) for most of our trinkets and I considered it free money.

The best bargain of the whole trip was bringing our niece, a/k/a the sitter, because having that extra set of hands, eyes and ears was worth every penny. Having two nights out with adults only= priceless!!

We should come out pretty good, comparitively speaking. This is for 2 adults, 1 child (5) and 1 toddler (1) who will not need a ticket. We are going in Sept.

FL resident Seasonal Passes (2 ad/1 ch), military rate: $631.50 (no tax)
6 nights at Shades of Green: $618 (no tax)
Parking at SoG: $60
2 character meals: $150
1 Le Cellier meal: $75
Rest, counter-service meals: $300
Gas to get there/back (700 miles r/t): $100
Meals on the road: $50
Souvenirs/stroller rental: close to free - using Disney Visa Dollars

So, total of about $2000 for a 6-night stay. Park tickets are already paid for (well, on this month's cc bill) and next month I'm buying some Disney gift cards in advance to use for food/souvenirs. So, hopefully the only expenses we'll have while we're there are for our room and the gas/food to get there. And by getting the seasonal passes, we can go again in the Spring and not have to pay for our tickets again.

Airfare: $1,080 (NYC-FL)
DVC maint' $650 (we own)
7 day hopper tickets $960 (undercover tourist.com)
Dining Plan $700
Disney Fishing Excursion $300
spending money 1000-1200

2 adults 2 children
Spring Break, last week of April, 2007
7 nights at The Beach Club Villas, studio

:)

my parents did the bills today from our trip 2 wks ago and they said we spent close to 5,000. It was 4 adults staying Sat-Sat w/a base park hopper (we got free upgrades) with the meal plan, and we stayed at the courtyard room at WL for around 360 a nite and had DME. Our airline tix were around 160 round trip and we did not have a rental car. We actually got free parking at the airport b/c the machines were down when we went to leave so the guy waved us on so we had a week free of parking at PIT. But overall it was close to 5,000...now just imagine if we stayed at a value we could go twice a year!! but dad can't take wdw twice in one year lol.

This is my first trip, but i must be doing something wrong. This is how I figured:
6 night 7 day w/park hopper and free ddp at POFQ+ 1871
flight for four + 196
spending cash + 700
Is this correct? = 2767

Ok here goes. We had two trips recently so I will do both one was camping and one was a hotel

2 nights stay at fortwilderness with annual pass discount about 50.00 per night.

Tickets to parks = 0.00 already had annual passes

Breakfast ate at the campsite = 0.00

Lunch took pb and j to the parks 0.00

Waters = 10.00 per day

Popcorn = about 7.00 per day

Dinner cooked out at campground = 0.00

Souvenirs = 20.00 per child (2 children)= 40.00

Stroller from home = 0.00

Total trip = $174.00

Trip #2
Trip to pop century 3 nights

Annual pass rate = I believe in the neighborhood of 70.00 per night.

Tickets = 0.00

Breakfast stuff from home = 0.00

Lunch pb and J = 0.00

Dinner = pop food court about 25.00 - 30.00 per night

Waters = 10.00 per day

Pop corn/ice cream = 15.00 per day

Souvenirs = 20.00 per child during one day at downtown disney = 40.00

Pop Arcade = 10.00

Stroller from home = 0.00

Total 3 night trip = $425.00

We go alot so our kids don't get alot of souvenirs on each trip. We try to eat healthier and save money by only eating one meal a day from disney when we are at the hotels. Annual passes are the best thing. I bought them somewhat staggered so they don't all come due at the same time.

This is my first trip, but i must be doing something wrong. This is how I figured:
6 night 7 day w/park hopper and free ddp at POFQ+ 1871
flight for four + 196
spending cash + 700
Is this correct? = 2767

How did you get such cheap airplane tickets?

Family of 4 2 ad, 2 chidren 4 and 5

Gas $200.00
7 Nights at Pop w/ DDP and Base tix, w/ waterparks and DQ option about $2785.00
Miscellaneous spending, we're budgeting $300-400 max.

Gas = $200
Souvenirs = $100

Total around $1700 for 2 adults, 2 children (one under age of three)

where do you get the code for 40%off at the Coronado?

This last time was a 7 day trip for w adults and 3 kids...13, 8, 2
Our Easter trip was Hotel $2300 - 3 bedroom at Ginn Reunion Resort
FL AP - $1290
Food - this one is hard for us, because we don't like to eat at Disney...we try to eat super healthy while we are there...I would say $500-600 because we did Cinderella's castle and groceries
Miscellaneous (drinks, souvenirs) - $1000
Total - 5090

We really just let loose when we go...Our next vacation in October is only 4 days and we are staying at a suite in BC (and we won't be taking the 13 year old...she is the kids cousin)
4 nights - 2100
tickets - paid for
food - 300-400
Misc - 500
MNSSHP - 150
Total - 3050

Last time I spent around 1400 (two adults).

About 1000 for flight+park hopper admission+hotel (on premises)

About 200 for food.

About 200 for souvenirs/other.

I almost made it for 1,180, then on the last day I realized that we hadn't spent nearly as much as I had anticipated, so we splurged a little on souvenirs and dining. Had a great trip!

Depends on whether we're staying 8 days/7 nts. or 9 days/8 nts. and includes $240/$270 for the petsitter.

It's DH, DS11 and myself. We fly SWA from Nashville and, lately, have tried staying 5 weeknights at a DVC studio, then 2 or 3 nights at a Value. We did the DP for 5 days of our trip this year, but think--for us--as light eaters, we spend less when we're not on the plan.

Lets see if I can remember things.

This was our last trip, 6 nights at the end of November-December. 2 adults, 1 paying child and a 12 month old.

Hotel, tickets, dining plan $1751 (all star movies)

Airplane tickets $459

Dh's Diving $140 plus his video $35

Family Magic Tour $75

Breakfast at the Castle $130....or something like that.

Misc. Souvinears/tips $400 maybe??

Hmmm... Not sure I even want to think about it! Our December trip is our longest trip to date (not just Disney - this is our longest whole-family trip so far), and the numbers are rather startling, especially compared to our last Disney trip which was half as long and during free dining.

Room - 2345 for 11 nights at the Dolphin
Tickets - 1491 for 10 day hoppers w/water parks for DH & the kids and an AP for me, plus MVMCP tix for all
DDE card - 65
Food & Drinks - 2000 estimated
BBB - 200
Photopass CD - 100
Tour - 50
Golf - 155 for DH only
Airfare - 800
Towncar service - 100
Misc expenses - 500

So that's $7800 including everything I can think of. The misc. includes things like putt-putt, kids' club and boat rental, plus any shopping we might do. I'm overestimating on the items where I don't have exact figures for, like food and shopping, and Southwest fares aren't out for our dates yet so hopefully the airfare will come down, but still :eek: this trip is getting pricey.
