How much do you know about your local professional soccer team? This is not a question on whether you like the sport or not. This is about how aware are you about your local team in general.

They have a cool crest and are partly owned by USMNT great Tim Howard.

We only have a USL team in CT called The Hartford Athletic. I've been to a game and enjoyed it. They stuck to the old school Hartford Whalers colors (which I loved). They are also trying to partner up with local adult leagues since they are going to be trying to bring a semi professional women's team to the area as well. I play in a women's league(NOT professional at all lol) so we're one of the leagues they are trying to partner with. All that being said-I could not tell you who is on the team currently...I am hoping to get to some more games and we are planning a "league" night for one of their upcoming games soon. Other than that-the closest professional teams are either the New England Revolution in the MLS or Gotham FC in the NWSL

New England has several (Rhode Island is getting one for USL Championship soon). For the Boston area the New England Revolution are top level team in the area. Vermont has a minor league team that debuted this year and New Hampshire is a trying to get a minor league team as well.

Nope, just major league. I don't have any schools or anything around. Anything less than a Pittsburgh major league I would not call a local team.

Your talking about Sacramento Republic right? If so, your billionaire left the team and that’s probably hurt development within the community. I feel bad for your team. They have a great fan base but are just unlucky with ownership.

Sacramento has a long history of Championship Soccer teams that were part of leagues that went bankrupt.
