how much do you budget per day?

I am trying to budget how much each day, but I really don't know! I think we will leave the major gift buying to the end of the holiday, but just food and those sorts of things!

Hopefully we can figure it out!

I work it out by looking at the menus for where we are going to eat, tot up an average priced starter, main and dessert then allow for tax, tip and drinks. I find it balances out over the days as well ~ you may spend more one day but not as much another.

It actually was a type, i meant hourS :thumbsup2

For budgeting, in the past (when not on the DDP) we tended to just take a budget for the holiday then see how far it went - if it ran out we used a card!

Guess I'm not as organised as some :)

Bad stalker you are!! :lmao:

In all honesty, apart from having to put the extra wedding expenses on the card last year (well, trying to but being told it was declined - thanks for that HSBC, why bother to tell me to ring up and tell you I'm going abroad if you don't bother letting it work :rolleyes1 - so we had to just get cash out of an ATM with my debit card), we have always come home with cash to spare.

I guess it's much easier to do that as two adults than with having kids :)
