How much direct sun?

I'm on deck 8. How much direct sun can I expect to get on my verandah--midships port side.

All verandahs, with the exception of a few at the back of the ship, are covered overhead and on the sides. Imagine being in a shoe box on it's side (not to imply that you are going to feel closed in, I never do). You'll get direct sun when it's low enough to get through. Some, but not too much, from my experience.
