How much did your holiday cost?

£1790 for flights/accommodation for two people? That's cheap! :)

:scared1: Is that including food?

Was a package we booked in 2007 hun around £850 each low season time.

Lol yea including food, got it $2 to a £1 $6000 we had fun ;) lol

Total £1620 - that's for 3 nights during the absolute cheapest season with discounts on travel and hotel.... Wouldn't change it for the world though, what a Disney nut I am!

You were at the DLH tho :cloud9:

We paid about £1700 for Sequoia Lodge for 3 nights, without spends nor food.
Although that was at New Year so wasn't the cheapest season :scared1:

:goodvibes

I'll do our last trip and this Augusts!

2 Adults

Last trip was October 08, but like a PP it was with Virgin Holidays so can just give a total like that:

VH - Flight/Car/Wedding at Cypress Grove/Accomodatiom (Hyatt Grand Cypress)/4 nights Disney Wonder - £4400

Park Tickets - two 14 day Ultimates £400 Universal and Sea World £200

Wedding extras (second limo/photos/flowers etc) £900

Wedding Meal at Shula's (private room) - £900 :scared1:

Spending money - about £2500

Total - £9300!

This August:

2 Adults

Flight and Car - £1900

14 Nights at SSR, Two 14 day Ultimates and Free dining £1850

Total so far (without spends, or our 1 night RPR) £3750 :)

:goodvibes

Funny how much cheaper it is without a wedding! :lmao:

Seriously though, your SSR package is really good this year. I paid £80 less for POFQ for 2! Did you do this one through Disney UK? I think you should be smiling about it! :)

Actually the £ was looking a bit more perky this afternoon. There's still some time before May. :goodvibes

I am holding on to the money for a lil longer, i'm praying every night too ;)

Hence why I wouldn't take it back!!

3 nights at SL in July (high season - again with a free night) cost us £40 more than the DLH trip.

I LOVE the Enchanted fireworks, but the weather was still cold and wet, and I much preferred the January crowds, so we'd both rather do the January trip again.

I am holding on to the money for a lil longer, i'm praying every night too ;)

I had a wobbly about it the other night and put a few hundred onto a FairFX at 1.4775. I should have just waited but never mind. I was going to lump a load on, but realised (thankfully) while I was doing it that a few cents isn't going to make THAT much of a difference. I still have TCs from last year that I bought in 2007 at just under $2 / £1 so it isn't like we have nothing to go with at all.

You go so mad with spending money, I love it.

I couldn't physically find enough stuff I wanted in DLP for £1000.

I thought I was splashing the cash buying about 10 pins, a M&M wedding mug and a wedding album. :lmao: We aren't big shoppers/souvenir people I guess.

We like to not worry about money while we are on holiday so take as much as we can lol.
Plus that money included 1 night in London eating out which cost us about £80.00 and train fares to and from London.

I love to spend haha x

ETA: Anyway i always think i don't have enough spending money Lol!

:rotfl: as you will see from my deleted post earlier - I did this 'fun' exercise last night, and felt so physically sick at how much I had spent that I had to remove it!!!:lmao: I have learned a valuable lesson - do this exercise BEFORE you commit to buying, not 12 months later when it is mostly all spent!!:scared1::goodvibes
