How much did you pay per point & what year

DH and I are seriously looking to join, but he is still a little on the fence. I was curious what everyone paid per point and what year you joined. DH think the price increase on 4-1-06 is just some sales trick. I know it's not but I would love to know how much the points have increased over the years.

$56.00 per point for resale at Old Key West in late 1999 (although it worked out to closer to $58/point if you factor in the closing costs from the resale).

I bought both my contracts on the resale market:

OKW: $55 per point in 1997 and it included free park passes through 1999.
BWV: $62 per point in 2002

Both resales included all current points plus banked points.
