Thank you for reading! You will love Christmas in Disney! It's beautiful! We did not have a visit from "Santa" even though we were there on Christmas morning. He left our gifts at home.... I do think he visited Happydog though, are you reading her trip report?

I am reading her report too and enjoying it just as much!! I don't think I got to Christmas day yet though. Can't wait to read more. Very interesting!

BTW, Thanks for the warm welcome to a little old lurker like me... I am officially inspired to try for our first June trip this year! DH has just approved it and I am entering high-planning mode.

The only problem is the sticker shock of traveling that time of the year when we are used to September!

With our large family, I think we are now looking into (horror of horrors) a condo offsite... If it gets us there, though, then I'll take it (and be plenty thankful!)

That's so awesome! Be sure to read my TR - we had 4 nights at BLT and I will tell you lots of stuff! How many places do you own at? For crying out loud! I'm so jealous!

We have a couple of nice sized contracts and a small add on at Beach Club and one nice size contract and a decent add on at Kidani. We are pretty well set except when we purchased our add on contracts we didn't understand about use years so we have talked about selling them and buying something that works better for us. I need to get caught up on your trip report. I can't wait to hear all about your BLT stay!

I told my DH that our next trip I'd take it easy on the shopping since I went a little nuts in December. I don't know about you, but that statement was taken by him with a grain of salt!

I think Marc would probably have the same thoughts....

So WigD what is that wait list like? Do they ever come through? I was just wondering if you have had any experience with the waitlist.

We wait listed for Beach Club last summer and it came through. I have heard good things about wait list so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. There are so many reservation changes going on at Disney all the time that I have a good feeling. When we called originally there was nothing available and now part of it is, so we'll just see.

So excited for you! I am thrilled to getaway in Feb, too... just cuz!

Sure, I think we have a bag that's just your size, in fact the last time we used it the airline ripped a hole in the front so you will have an air hole. I think you should be all set! I have no doubt that you will behave yourself Jen! There might even be room for Megs!

I've known quite a few people that have stayed off site and did quite well size wise. I say as long as you get to Disney it's all good!

The bathroom tile was one of the things that stands out to me as I recall our DVC tour. It was very pretty.

I had a pretty good idea what this LITTLE announcement was!

I know when March rolls around I am going to be tempted to get in the car and drive eleven hours just to spend a day and a half down there. I am trying to be reasonable, though. I will be a crazed maniac suffering severe withdrawals, but I'll be reasonable.

That ought to brighten up a cold winter for you, huh?

Jill has always wanted to stay at Boardwalk, so I know she will really love seeing your pictures as we wait for the summer trip.

Well I think I am all set with my Mac....I installed a new Airport Extreme wireless router and I am typing right now!! After I installed the disk for the software I couldn't figure out how to eject the disk I just found it now!!
Can't wait to see the rest of your goodies!!
Speaking of snow I shoveled my deck when I got home at 7pm and made some tunnel/paths for Ziggy and just looked out again and my deck is covered! It wasn't even supposed to snow much today!! It has been about 6 inches so far!! Good forecasting!

On the Kidani coffee mug question, we do not have plans to eat there in July, but since we are driving, I can always run over there at some point to get it. I really think that I need that giraffe for my morning coffee.

And I have to tell you, I have decided that we MUST buy DVC after the July trip -- partly because it makes the most sense for the Christmas 2011 trip and mostly because we will have stayed at all the non-DVC resorts, and the rest of the places I want to stay are DVC resorts. How is that for reasoning and justification?
