Oh rats, no fun towing a sick family around But I am glad that you at least got to Kidani with little more trouble... now to find out if you got into your villa in time... So hard being a sick mommy when you have a toddler -- YUCK!

Poor Megan. I hope her bug passed quickly. We used ME for the first time in June. We flew Southwest so we were on the opposite side. I got so turned around trying to find it. I know your frustration. I researched and should have known.

I'm sure the day will come that both of them will ride the big boy rides, I know that for now, most of Baylor's friends ride them and he doesn't....
He's not a fan of DHS or DAK because of the thrill rides there.... Our trips will be much more fun when he decides it's time to give them a try and likes them! I'll keep my fingers crossed that he likes them!

Fingers crossed, it opens up a whole new world once they make the switch. We honestly thought Taylor would never go there...it just took till 16!

I was just whining about not going to Disney at Spring Break and Baylor suggest we go to the Salt Mines at Hutchinson Kansas. They keep some very famous articles there. Lots of films and documents. I'm like you don't understand. I Want To Go To Disney!
All the same I don't get to.

Poor Matt and Megan, that is just an awful start and nothing worse than being sick on a plane or at the airport. I have a feeling though no one but you and Shocker were paying attention to being lost, poor things! Glad they survived the ME ride ok. I hope it moves quickly and didn't impact the trip too much.

MCO is starting to feel like home to me but if I came in on an airline other than Delta I'm sure I would get quite turned around. It is huge!!

Harper looks so happy and adorable! She's ready to go! Poor Megan and Matt though. Bad enough to be sick, but to be on a plane/bus/away from home, even worse. Of course, knowing that Disney was waiting could make you feel just a tad better! I hope they both recover quickly!

So, are we ready to go back to school tomorrow??? I know I am NOT!

I think Matt was on the mend, just one more real bout with it and in need of some rest. Megan on the other hand was in the beginning stages. They were following us through the airport like they were on the Bataan Death March trudging through the airport, gazed expressions on their fevered and exhausted faces....

Megan was so sick, the call of the mouse didn't even perk her up.

School tomorrow? Oh noooooooo!
I really need to get up there this afternoon, but we aren't allowed to turn on any heat and it's really cold here.
We have a district teacher appreciation breakfast in the morning at the high school, I'm thinking of skipping it, heading to McD's going in early and cranking up my heat so I can get ready for my day.....

Oh, poor Megan and Matt! So not the way you want to get acquainted with the Orlando airport -- by visiting the restrooms! I hope this illness moved through their system quickly, and it didn't visit anyone else.

It was just a 24 hour bug, but they were both wiped that first evening....
It got worse before it got better, I saw to that....

That is just the pits! Being sick is bad enough, but being sick while traveling is the worst. I always say extra prayers for health when we travel. And then I hose the hotel room down with Lysol. I wanted to spray down my seat on the plane too, but I didn't think that would go over well with the other passengers. Plus there's that whole ban on aerosols thing! Hope things got better for your group quickly!

I honestly thought about wearing a mask to protect me from them.....
I felt really bad for the folks flying with us.
I was guilt of traveling with sickies.
My thoughts were that if I could just get them there... they could sleep and then enjoy some time in the parks.
The airlines make it impossible to change the flights....
What is a person to do?
I wonder how long you could hold your breath?

She was way to sick to even think about taking care of Harper, Keeley, and I took over. Matt tried to help out but he was feeling pretty rough too. The check in took a while. Let's just say I hadn't planned for that or sick travelers....

We took a flight home that left 7pm the night before school started. About halfway through the flight he kept getting up to use to bathroom. It was terrible, especially since he had to crawl over this guy about the same size as Shaquille O'Neil. But the flight attendant brought him this little bag of goodies at the end of the flight that said - Dear Nick, Good Luck in 5th Grade! I always remember her cause she kept the flight home from being a total disaster!

I'm really looking forward to seeing your Kidani pics AND I am zeroing in on my guess!

So sorry about the sickies!! That's just awful. I've been praying the boys and I stay healthy through our trip. My first trip, when I was six, got cut short when I got an ear infection. I don't remember much, just laying in a hotel off site, miserable.

Sick @ Disney = no good!

BUT !!! If I had to get sick, on a plane, while taking care of a toddler, I would hope I had family there to help out! It could have been worse. Can you imagine if you and Keeley hadn't been there to help with Harper?!

Ugggh about being sick on the plane I don't even like getting up to use the bathroom let alone REALLY having to use the bathroom.
I have a feeling I am going to be turned around at MCO in May too....I always fly Northwest and this time I will be on Jet Blue direct flight! I take pride in knowing exactly where I am so I might sneak a peek before I get there since I will be playing expert tour guide too!

As ugly as Keeley acted I'll give it to her, she is very good with Harper! Most of the time she was such a help!

Honestly there was more bad than good, but much more bad than normal. Hence the title.
It's always good to have plenty of help when you have a toddler around, more so when mom and dad are sick! Throw a flight in the mix and you have a recipe for disaster!

It was great to meet you guys. Thanks, again, for all the goodies you left with us after the female Barney Fife (Barnetta, perhaps) finally let us in to see you. Next time we intend to invade a resort (to do major damage, I guess?), we'll come by bus. I guess the faimly van filled with mom, dad, two babies, and a grandma was a little too scary for Barnetta.
