We are in Disney for 7 days. If we basically eat breakfast in our room, and limit sit down dining and rely mostly on CS meals, how much will it cost for two adults and a 3 yr old to eat for a week?

I think that allearsnet has the prices with the menus for all the restaurants. Maybe that would give you a good idea. Have fun!

well on our first we didnt get the dining plan and tried to stay at $100 per day for us 2 adults and that was hard to do. we tried a couple sit down restaurants but ordered inexpensive items, sometimes only an appetizer b/c of the prices. It was too stressful trying to stick to a budget. So if you are staying on disney property get the dining plan. no budgeting, no guess work, no stress, plus you can pick anything off the menu! have fun either way!

If you want to keep your meal prices down you can do alot of research on allears.net before you go. There are alot of counter service meals that are big enough to split. Like Cosmic Ray's in MK, Starring Rolls in HS, the Land in Epcot. Also I love to get a Ham and cheese croissant at the Pastry shop in Epcot-it's huge and only around 3.50. We've also ate a late breakfast or early lunch at a buffet and it will last us through til later when we'll have a light dinner.

1 CS meal for an adult with beverage will probably be just over $10. Kids meals are $5 generally speaking....So, if the 2 adults each order their own meal twice per day and adding in the kids meal...that's $50 minimum per day. This doesn't include any inpark drinks or snacks.

Of course, it is extremely easy to share CS meals since they are pretty large portions!

If memory serves, the CS dining plan option is about $32/adult/day and $10/child/day. The paln also includes 2 snacks per day and refillable resort mug.

since you did not ask about the dine plan (which generally works to your advantage if planned correctly ;)) I won't go there :lmao:

SO, IMHO, the cs for each adult will run about $12 each. You prob have enough between the two to give to your child, if need be, otherwise kids meals are like 6.

If you use the cs for your dinners as well......obviously thats the same cost....and throwing in 2 full meals at $75 each (entree/drink/dessert)= totals about $500. for that
BUT, in my opinion, I would suggest having $100/day planned.............;) Better to have More than be short ;) It adds up pretty fast.........
Maybe you can check out the menu's of where you think you'll eat ...:confused3
Good Luck and have a great trip!

This year we were trying to see if the Dining Program was worth it for us. Here is what we found:

CS for breakfast - avg 2 adults - 15.00 ttl
CS for lunch - avg 2 adults - 25.00 ttl
TS for dinner - avg 2 adults - 60.00 ttl

so for two adults the total average per day was 100.00.
