Reslistically, it's unlikely that anyone would ever find out.
Unless of course you post it for everyone to see on DISBOARDS or something (jK)

Yeah, that's really the key.OP, I'm confused. Is this a transfer or a rental to a non-member?
You can charge her whatever you wish. The "going rate" on the DIS is now $11-$12 per point. If they were to book a standard view at the Beach Club it would be about $860, so 65% off isn't a bad deal. I would probably charge a friend a bit less "just because", probably half way between my maintenance dues and the $12 per point. My friend is using my DVC points for a two night trip to Beach Club in October for 2 nights. She wants to know how much she owes me. What can I fairly charge her per point? It is 32 points for the stay. A big thank you to anyone who can help me!!!

This thread and the comments about renting to friends (ok) vs. commercial renting (not allowed) makes me wonder how it is that there is a major commercial renter with a snazzy website and ads all over the place -- if commercial renting isn't allowed, how does he get away with it without Disney doing something?
According to Disney and our contract? $0.![]()

Actually you can rent your points, it's specifically in the contract. What you can't do is rent as a commercial enterprise.
The question was how much can you charge to transfer.
