Hey ladies,
How much can a pregnant woman do at the parks?? Anyone have a list of attractions that preggo's can do still?? I'd like to see about all 4 parks if possible.
Thanks
Karen

I went when I was 7 months pregnant. I was able to go on everything that did not have a height restriction. In MGM I skipped Tower of terror & Rock N rollar coaster. In Animal Kingdom I skipped Dinosaur, Kali river rapids & Primeval Whirl. In Epcot I skipped Mission Space, however I did go on Test Track. In Magic Kingdom I skipped Thunder Railroad, Space & Splash Mountains.
I just made sure to take plenty of breaks whenever I was tired. It was a great trip.

I grew up in So. Cal. going to DL regularly. One of my fondest memories is the trip when I was pg. the first time and had to change my touring style. Instead of the major roller coasters I got to experience things we'd never done before, not to mention taking the day at a slower pace. One thing we found time for was Tom Sawyers Island---what a blast! And stopping to sit down at a cafe (the old Carnation one) and getting ice cream. So, check out your maps, look for those smaller attractions you never had time for before, and do something different. I'm sure you'll love it!

The only things you have to skip is the thrill rides; you can do almost anything. There are lists of restricted rides, check allearssnet.com, that tell you what rides, in advance, that you must miss. When you get there, there are signs everywhere. Do a search on this board b/c this topic has come up many, many times and you might get a direct link to lots of sights with more detailed info.

I went when I was 7.5 months preg with #2. I had a great time! :cool1: We were there 7 days and I did get more tired at the end of the day. Make sure you put your feet up at night or swelling will set in. Also, if you get a chance, lean on fencing, railing, etc. it takes the pressure off your back and lets yoour belly "hang" a little. Take it slow, drink lots of water, rest in the evening and you will be good to go. I rode anything I wanted with the exception of the "thrill" and mountain rides. I also skipped the safari at AK. Have fun!

I don't like the crazy thrill rides, so I was able to go on everything I wanted when I was pregnant. Except my inner-ear troubled husband made me go on the teacups with our five year old and I did not enjoy that at all! :faint: I would stay away from them if at all possible!

i went last year when i was 20 weeks PG and pretty much skipped all of the above mentioned rides. i did do the safari in AK with no problem. we did all of the parks plus blizzard beach & had a great time.

enjoy :flower:
