How much camera memory (cards) to take

My camera has a 4gb sd card and wondering if I'll need more for 4 nights / 5 days
What do people normally take with them?

I took 3 16GB cards with me last week and ended up only using 2.5GB of one card. That was enough for 900+ high res photos using a FufiFilm X10. If you intend on taking video then you'll no doubt need more.

they are expensive at DLP - if you think you might need another memory card you'd be best to get one here before you go (tesco, asda, pcworld, everywhere really sells sd memory cards).

We always take 2 cameras (both Sony Cybershot)...one for each of us, doubles our chances of getting a good shot.

Each one with an 8GB card...but we also take a laptop to unload photos every night...heaven forbid we lose a camera with a week's worth of photos.

But if you plan to use the camera all week without downloading any photos, then I'd say yes, buy another card before you get there.
