How much are you spending on your beach vacation this summer?

2600 for a 4 bedroom/3 bath oceanfront house with hot tub including fees for 2 dogs on Hatteras Island in Avon ,NC on the Outer Banks. We are going the third week in June. We rent through a realty company.

We're taking our very first beach vacation in July for 7 days to Myrtle Beach. We are ocean front in a 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 8 and are paying $1362.13 that includes springing extra for sheets and towels. I can't imagine dragging all that crap with me!

We rented a 2 bedroom condo = master bedroom with private bathroom, 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds, queen sofa bed (if needed, which we did not), ICE COLD central A/C, satellite TV's times 3 and WiFi, full size washer and dryer, full size kitchen with dishwasher, garbage disposal etc, screened in lanai, couple of beach cruisers to use, beach toys (boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, beach umbrella) 3 pools on the property, a walk to the beach for $800 per/week. This included the cleaning fee and all taxes. This was in New Smyrna Beach, FL. We rented this place twice for 8 days each time in August and LOVED it. Now we rent a 2 bedroom beach house there for $300 for 11 days - but it's from a friend - no pools but it's a walk to the beach and the price sure can't be beat.

We are paying 1700 for 3 bedroom house just a few steps from the ocean in Rodanthe Outer Banks for July 4th week. We drive from Pa so about an 8 hour drive but it is worth it! Usually we like to go eArlier in the season when rates are much lower and weather is beautiful but it seems it seems like places really get booked up there a year in advance!

$1100 for a 1 bedroom oceanfront in New Smyrna Beach last July. We were quoted $1400 for the same dates/unit this year. We have cancelled our beach vacation.

Using up most of my reward points to do a few nights in Ocean City in July.

Last year, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. Next year same thing. I have enough HH DVC to do a week every other year. In between it is other beaches.

We live on the Texas coast. I'm thankful to be in a warm place within a 2 hour drive to the beach, but the Gulf coast definitely doesn't have the prettiest beaches in the world. That being said, we still love the beach and try to go two or three times a year. It's usually to Galveston, Texas. Once the kid are older, hopefully we'll try to go more. A beach day with two kids under 5 is a bit exhausting! Anyways, we usually just go for the long weekend and try to spend under $500 for hotel rental, food, and activities for 4 people. We can usually get a mid-range hotel for a little over $100 a day. So $350-ish for three nights and then making our own breakfasts and lunches and going out for 3 dinners. Fortunately, this year my in-laws are renting a beach house for the weekend and we're going to stay there. That just might count as our beach vacation for the summer! We've never done a full week at the beach, but I think it would probably be about 2K if we did that since we'd want to rent a beach house.

9 bedroom house with elevator and pool in Duck before high season kicks in is around $7800 with all fees. Five families sharing the week.

We aren't doing the traditional beach vacation, we are renting a cottage in a campground on the beach near Ocean City MD. Its around $1900 for 8 nights.
