How much Alcohol do you haul to FW

I personally don't have a thing against social drinking....not for me because I'm on all kinds of medicine that might cause a negative reaction. What I do have a problem with is those folks that get blasted and start making fun of my DOGS. How's that for changing the subject?

I don't drink a lot during regular day to day life but I really enjoy having a few when I camp! Certainly not enough to get smashed, but it's great to relax and have a beer or two with DH outside at the end of the day after the boys are in bed. We plan to do the same during our first trip to Fort Wilderness this coming August.

For Some reason, It seems to be the beverage choice of adult club DJs all over the country.....I think its because it does its job in as little time as possible. I dont care much for the taste of alcohol....so when I drink, its with ONE GOAL....to get stupid...and nothing makes me stooopiter den rumple!!!!

OMG people....what the heck did I miss last night ?? I was the first one to reply last night and then I went to bed and woke up this morning and missed the party I hate it when that happens !!

I do agree that there are alot of threads that are not about FW. But if you took away every thread that was OT, I don't think there would be any regulars here anymore. If this was simply a question and answer forum then there would be no need for anyone to come back once they have gotten what they needed. And what fun would THAT be ??

I enjoy chatting with my friends here and sharing my love of camping/FW. I am hoping to meet some of you all next Christmas and sharing a beverage (of any kind). Maybe we do need to rein it in a little and not turn every single thread into a drinking thread (unless it is our own thread). It does seem like there are some people out there that are just looking for information and not socialization.

I think we can find a happy medium before someone else has to do it for us.

In all fairness....none of us destroy any threads until the original posters question has been good and answered, politely and intelligently.....then, and only then, do we become beer slamming, wife beating, cart wrecking, puppy kicking rejects.

I've got to stay up later!

I like to drink beer in Epcot a lot. But I also have beer at the RV. generally a case of good beer. When we camp nearer home and not at Disney, at least a case of Mooseheaad & Harp and IPAs. Also a few bottles of Shiraz or Merlot or a good dry red. When we camp in the Finger Lakes Region of NYS we always tour the wineries. That's always a lot of fun.

It's amazing to me how discussions like this get so contentious. I guess I'll stop while I'm ahead.

OH I should add something about NFL tailgateing -- usually more than a case for those but that's almost like camping
