There will be 11 of us and dinner may be the only time everyone is together. Trying to plan dinners - I know 11 can't fit in a car but was wondering how many cars we would be split between?

Also can 50's PT accomodate 11 people or would we be at seperate tables?

Is this the case at most resturants - should we expect to be a seperate tables?

We had seven...Five kids and two adults!

Have a great trip!

Regarding 50's my wife and I sat in a very long booth. Tables could be pushed together. The opposite side would be chairs. I would imagine you'd be in good shape it is dependent on how soon you make your ressie. Both 50's and Sci Fi are really great family choices!

Again have a great trip!

Never been to 50's but at SciFi I think it would be very hard to have everyone sit together at one table. You may be able to do two cars next to each other(there are three rows in a car and two people fit in a row), but I don't know how likely it would be to get two cars next to each other or if they would even accomodate that. I would call Dining and see which they can do to help. One thing to keep in mind, if this is the only time you will all be together, SciFi is pretty quiet b/c everyone is watching the mini-movies, so if you are looking for a place you can all talk and catch up I would go with 50's. Best of luck!:goodvibes

I ate at both 50's PT and Sci-Fi. Both were nice. MIL & FIL both like the 50's as they could relate. 50's PT is broken up it ot various rooms with tables, so I would think they can accomodate your group.

I think at Sci-Fi you will be split up, however, I swore I saw plain tables that they could group up. WDWBW09 thinks it can be done as well. Call the resturant and ask them. Usually reservations will tell you if can be done or not.

We did 11 at Sci Fi last time we visited (10 adults, 1 child). They seated us in 2 cars side by side, one car held 6 and one held 5. We booked the first seating for lunch because after 20+ WDW vacations, I've learned that you have a better chance of getting the seating you want if you book the earliest time available.

As a party of 11, we were always seated together or seated close to one another at all restaurants.

Great! Thank you so much everyone for your input!!

It is good to hear that as a party of 11 we will more than likely be seated together or near each other. That is also a good point that Sci-Fi is generally pretty quiet and that this might be our only time together as a group all day so we may want a place we can talk and catch up - I had not thought about that.

So that makes me lean towards 50's, but thinking it was mostly booths so it wouldn't work either. Good to hear that they could do tables pushed together. Any other thougths about 50's for a group of 11? Do you agree that MIL and FIL would enjoy it as well? Thanks everyone! :thumbsup2

Other ideas are Tony's, Coral Reef, WCC, CM's, O'hana, Kona, 1900 Park Fare, Le Cellier.....
