How Many Ways to Celebrate Sweet Sixteen ??? Updated 1/3

Never tried Raglan Road. I wonder if they would have let Jonathan and I in to join you guys the night we met??? I bet that would have made for an enjoyable experience.....
I usually have to roll out the door after breakfast there!!! It will be hard to get the boys to change to dinner instead of breakfast since 1) We love that juice so much and 2) they love spending time with Kathy's favorite blue character Stitch!!!

I have never tried Raglan Road either. I just never seem to be on that "side" of the property. Even when we stayed at POFQ, I was not really in DTD much. I really need to work on that. Maybe with the stay at SSR and crowded parks during the day it may happen.

Just tell the boys one word MEAT. you can add "all you can eat" to it too. That may help in getting them to go for dinner.

I tried Raglan Road on my first solo trip and have gone everytime since except when with the family and I think I will have them try it too!!!

Rosie, the Polynesian is still my favorite resort after 30 years - seeing you all there brings back wonderful memories of many stays with my children and friends.

So glad Ohana's was enjoyed! Love the lei's too. Breakfast is my favorite Ohana meal.

By the way, what kind of knee brace is Judy wearing? I need one like that - mine keeps falling down. Not good.

I will ask her where she got it and how it worked !!I know she got it just for Disney as she was having knee troubles before we went !!She and the girls are at the opening show for the latest Twilight Movie All very excited !! I am not into the series but Judy and the girls are !!!

I do not like Stitch and wouldn't go to Ohana because I don't particulary care for family style. I think I'm going to send you a 6 foot tall Stitch cardboard cut-out since you seem to admire him so much.

Kathy Judy doesn't care for Family Style either we had it in 2007 at Garden Grill and at Liberty Tree and that was wy I thought she wouldn't like Ohanas, but it is family style but everything isn't all on the same dish , I think that is the difference , it is more TRUE family style

The Next day we headed to Our First Morning at Epcot

We stopped to watch these guys !!Kyle LOVES all the side shows etc and we have NO choice

Of Course we were on our way her

Can you guess what we rode ??? Soarin' of course . Then the first surprise .... Judy wanted to try something new Sooo I suggested this

Can you believe it was a BIG Success !! Kyle was fascinated by the Fish and how they help the plants and vica versa , Samantha loved the 9 # lemon !!

We then stopped for lunch , around 12:30p and surprise it was crowded I told Judy we need to eat before noon as the restaurants get BUSY!!! BUT ...... Any who this is where we ate

It was pretty good and hit the spot . It was then time for THE WORLD!!!!

And yes Queen Lizzie called me too !!!

Of course we had to do the Hats for Kathy and Mark

I know I am dating myself but does anyone remember the "CARRY ON" movies ??

Then some PIXIE Dust cuz look who else was in the store

I don't think many will remember the Carry On Series as it was truly British, they were comedy movies !!!
As for the Moroccan shot !!Kyle did take a bit of convincing but as you can see he did a fine job!!!

Yes I like the Fez, Judy tended to go for ones with dangling stuff !!

Yes it is !!We spent a lot of time exploring this time , and all enjoyed different things , but they enjoyed it !!!

Rosie, Great update. EPCOT is great for so many things. I am glad you were able to "wow" the family on a couple of of new things.

I do not remember the Carry on series either, probably because of the British origin rather than being too young. I did look it up and seems along the line of Monty Python.

I honestly wont know till next year when I find out when Carol and I go to WDW and Universal with People & Places . Right now finances are not good and I can't afford a trip next year unles as always The EX. retires !!!
We are asking for either May/June and September/ October for the 2 trips to Orlando and of course we are locked into The Elvis Festival end of May and then hoping for Cape Cod in July!!Can you imagine all those FREE vacations !!!
