How many vehicles does your household have?

We have 2, but could probably get by with 1 if we "really, really" needed too. The only problem would be if we have just 1 car and it breaks down, we would miss having another car for back-up.

We have four cars running around. Oldest DS has one at college. DS17 has his car, and DH and I each have our own car. I paid $2.15 for gas here in central TX last night. My oldest DS paid $2.03 for gas in Corpus Christi a couple of days ago.

Do I win a prize for no car for 2 years? That was 16 years ago and we lived in the Alaskan Bush. We are a family of 4 drivers as of Nov. so we have 4 cars. The newest one is 1998 Neon which belongs to my 18 yr. old ( she paid for it) My hubby drives a 1997 F 150 and my 16 yr old drives my 1997 van, i get what is left in the driveway -- 1988 Pathfinder. I only drive 3 miles round trip to work and only occationally need to run errands after work. I imagine someday having a place to park or maybe even the luxury of parking in a garage!!LOL
P.S. All cars are paid for - no car payments!!!

We have 2 Explorers. Mine is a 1998 and DH's is a 2004.

We could not survive with one car as we both work in oppostite directions.

Probably we could survive with smaller cars, but these are both paid off, so we'll be keeping them for a while!

we have 2.5 vehicles....how .5 you ask? well one is a 1973 dodge charger that dh is restoring.
the other 2 are a 1997 pontiac grand prix of mine that is paid for and that i will be replacing in the summer with a new one(same thing just newer).
dh has a beast...2002 dodge ram 3500 dually cummings diesal.

we could never get along with just one (well i am sure we could if we had no choice) but dh works 25 min away and works long long hours. i am a sahm but i volunteer at ds school 3x a week plus do errands for my gram and also ds has karate 2x a week.
we have gotten by with one now and then when dh truck was getting some work done on it (custom not needed) and i either had dmil help or dh got a ride that day or i just stayed home (that was actually a treat) i haven't quite figured out the stay at home part to being a stay at home mom, lol.

need to van to fit the kids all in
need the truck to sand, plow, lug tools in the summer - aka work.

the antique doesn't go out to much she would stay parked in the garage probably
