How many vacations do yout typically take in a year?

We take one nice trip a year Disney or an all inclusive, and we camp about 10 times a year some trips are longer than others but its nice to get away once and a while!

We ususally take two week long vacations during the year....atleast one of those is Disney, the other ususally a beach type vacation. (this year it is a 7 night Disney cruise....WooHoo!!!!!) However, there have been a few years where both weeks were disney. We take around 4 or 5 weekend trips somewhere, like NYC, the Jersey shore, an amusement park, etc. All of These trips are my DH, myself, DS9, and DD7. We usually also take one or two trips for long weekends that are just myself and DH, usually to NYC or a spa somewhere. My DH usually takes one weekend trip with his buddies to a sporting event....they are trying to hit every football stadium in the US, I think! I try to take a long weekend trip with my girlfriends to a spa. This past month, my DH and DS went on their first "male bonding" trip to the Outback Bowl in Tampa florida to see Penn State win!!! So, I am thinking that my daughter and I need to start our own female bonding trips soon....cannot wait until she is old enough to do a spa!!!!!

I always am planning a trip somewhere....it keeps me sane!!!!

We vacation quite often.. Usually 2 cruises a year and then I try to sneak a trip to WDW where I can..

2 or 3 per year. One week or more vacation and a couple of shorter 3 or 4 day vacations.

I would say two- normally for a week. last year we did a week in NC to ski and a week in the fla keys, and a short 3 day trip to disney.this year dh is taking a boys trip to colorado and we have our family summer trip to NC. I may try and take a weekend to disney while he is gone and we have a weekend trip to nashville in june this year. If I dont run the marathon at disney in 2008 then we will do our usual trip to disney in 1st week in december. Guess it varies for us on what is planned for the year..

Week-long, we usually do one every 12-18 months, due to my husband's schedule. We try to do a lot of smaller trips and sightseeing around here, though. This year, we're planning on going to Banff/Calgary and Glacier National Park, one in the spring, one in the fall. These will be 4-5 day weekend trips. DH also gets three "free" days when he gets home from a deployment, so we go to Seattle or somewhere over there. I think the next one, we're going to go to Leavenworth, WA.

We do 1 a year or less. We rarely take vacations. Our first family vacation will be in 15 months+ to WDW. After that, we would like to go to Hawaii, but that will be in another 2-5 years after the WDW one. I do like to buy furniture for our house a room at a time when on sale, so we trade off and on with vacations.

we have a motorhome and get away on the week-end as much as we can, so techincally it might not be a vacation but we do not take days off from work, but it is as we away from home. Because of that I vote 5+.
