I've noticed quite a few people that have done, or are doing Disney more than once in a year and just wondering how many vacation days you have? We have 15 (used to have 20) and used 6 up for our Disney vacation last week. Ideally in a couple years we'd like to go for 2 weeks. Anyway, just curious.

I get two weeks a year which I don't even get up front ... I don't get them until I start to accumulate time worked

24 vacation days, 12 sick/personal days. Some of the vacation days have to be take at specific times - 5 days christmas break and 5 days spring break. I work at a school and we are closed during those times.

2 weeks holidays but I can take an additional 4 weeks of sick leave 2 with pay 2 without pay.

As many as I want, cause I'm the boss ;)

But we take 5 - 10 days off a year, usually not all together though.

( DSNY FN , I had fun today at the dismeet)

Thanks so did we it was great to see everyone again and to meet some new faces. We are going to try and plan a summer meet in London we will keep you posted.

I'm a stay at home wife and DH gets 7 weeks vacation. Next year he'll be retiring.:D

We have 365 days. Its great to be retired. Had a fun time at the meet Thanks Darrin.

Well this year I get 4 weeks plus up to another 15 without pay (will only use 5 or 6), and 12 sick days.(pretty soon the sick time I earn will double). Somehow it just isn't enough time though :)

Yes it was nice to meet you today Elanor thans for coming. Sorry to hijack this thread and as for holidays we always take as many of them as we can at WDW hehehe

two weeks but can only take one week when two friday's are involved. Cruise time!LOL

But if I go any other time, as long as I am back to do payroll, I take what I like to call my "Mental Health Days!"

As long as the work gets done, they understand my addiction! Well not really but I just don't tell them that I'm goin' again!

Dh gets 4 weeks at the moment and I believe 5 weeks in another couple of years. However, the company doesn't like him to take 2 weeks together unless they decide to have a shut-down in the summer, because kaos usually results.

Both my DH and I get 4 weeks per year. I also accumulate lieu time at year end and in September (I work at a University). Unfortunately, I have to use many of them when my DS has PA days, March break and summer. I am lucky though because we get 15 sick days a year which I can use when I'm sick or when my family is sick.

I'm thinking that I'm going to have to take an unpaid two week leave to get in my Disney vacation this fall.

The things we do to go "home".

:D

I am a homemaker and hubby is self employed...
Cannot imagine it any other way!

5 weeks plus 2 extra days (to equal the Stat holiays from diferent provinces).

No set vacation time - or at least I've never been told the exact number of weeks but at least 3 weeks all paid. I work in a somewhat stressful job and was told to take some time off when needed. Easier said than done at times. I can take 2 weeks off at once but no more. The stress on my secretary would be too much!Usually it's just a week at a time. I do take "mental health days" every once in while too.

LOL-seeing a few of the mental health days here!!
I think my mental health would improve with yearly mandated trips to the World!

I'am all about the mental health days too ...I feel justified since everyone I work with is clearly certifiable!!!(my work place is crazy!!!) I get 8 of those a year, 2 weeks which will soon become 3 and as much unpaid time as I'd like (just took 2 weeks of that) plus I take accumulated time as timeowed as well (so any store set-up I do ,if I work 75 hours that week I just bank the 35 and take it in time...my choice...my employer at times does work me 14 hours a day for 14 days straight...deadlines you know!!!) hence the whole reason for mental health days!!!! Plus I travel for them also...they owe me big time!!!!::yes:: As for Dh...well he gets 12 sick days plus 5 weeks, one of which he banks for straight pay (must be nice...damn government jobs!!!) s all in all ....we've got time for the World !!!!!
