3,437 including this one. I subscribe to all the threads I post on, and to some that I don't post on. I like to be able to refer back to threads, to go back years later to see what was going on, etc. It's like a history .
In case anyone is interested, it's easy to stop those for certain threads or to even turn them off completely for all threads you are subscribed to. You can go to User CP, hit "View all subscribed threads", and then change the e-mail notifications for specific threads. I get tired of the e-mails, too, so I turn off notifications for threads that continue to get replies for more than just a couple of pages.
4892...I have unsubscribed to threads that I didn't want to follow any more. But I don't unsub from threads that end on their own or that i want to continue to follow.
None right now. I clean out my subscriptions on a regular basis unless it's a particular thread I want to follow. But once that thread reaches limits I've set for myself, it gets unsubscribed.
Every year or two, I go in and prune the list, especially when I start noticing it taking longer and longer to display the first page of my subscriptions list. Keep in mind that vBulletin has a bit of trouble with lists of anything greater than a certain size (it used to be 2500, but they've upped it quite a bit). That's why the webmasters often close a long-running thread and have the participants open a new thread ("Part 2").
