How many state pins are you going to buy?

The DS manager is not placing a 1 or 2 pp limit on state pins at the store I go to. I am wondering how many people are hoping to buy at their local strore(s).

I'm just planning/hoping to get a few extras to trade for states where I have lived or visited:
New York
South Carolina
Maryland
California
Ohio
Kentucky
Virginia

Then maybe I'll work on places where I have good friends living
I also think it would be fun to see how many different states you can find on CM lanyards in the parks.
Sort of like a scavenger hunt

My store manager says there is a 2 pin limit but we can get back in line. I am dragging my boyfriend out of bed that morning and my Mom in CT is heading to her store. I just want to be able to trade. I am deinitely not trying to get all of them, just as many as I can get.

Eeyore64, if you haven't already made plans, I can trade you a VA pin for one of your NC pins.

i'm going to try to get as many as i can, i'm planning to go to some stores in both MD and Virginia ( wish we had a DCstore!! too) to get a bunch then i have some people getting me some in NYand then its all trading with peoplw. I 'll see how many i get. then the real scavenger hunt begins. ITs too bad you cant just go one place to by them all!!! Good luck all.

I've alrealy promised one of my pins. I want to get at least 10 so I can trade with some of my new friends. Hope they are plentyful like the Locket pins.

The store I go to has 72, the same quantity as the locket. But I think these will sell even fatser and better than the locket. Everyone seems to want several.

All stores were directed at the beginning of the release of the pin series that there would be no limit on any pins (although limits could be placed on pins, if the majority of guests were not being served), with the exception of a strict limit of 2 state pins per guest during the last week of release.

Lauri and I thought we'd just try for certain states --- Georgia (since I grew up there), New Jersey (where Lauri lived before VA), and Ohio (Lauri and my father were both born there), and maybe a couple of others. Now that it looks like the state pins will be fairly plentiful, we may try for some states we've visited.

Of course, this is one pin that casual pin collectors and even non-collectors may want.
