How many reservation confirmations do you get?

I have received three of them for my visit next week to the HRH. The latest one was last night. It seems kind of strange. I checked and the confirmation numbers were all the same, with the same info :confused3

So, how many do you usually get?

:rotfl: I just received my third confirmation. We'll be arriving on the 22nd. Well, at least I know they're expecting me!

Yeah, I all of a sudden started receiving multiple confirmations too. Maybe there is a problem with the system.

Glad it is not just me - I just got confirmation number 4!!

Hi,
I landed at the HRH on Aug. 5th for 3 nights and when I went to check in they wanted me to sign for a $237/night gardenview room. I had originally held that, until I decided to get an AP and hence and AP rate for $179 a saving of $60 per night.

I said, what about my $179 rate that I'd received 2 confirmations on in June and they said they didn't have a record of it, so I had to run to the car and produce my photocopied versions of the confirmation notes.

I hadn't received the 3 confirmations the week prior to Aug 5th, as we'd already left Canada for Disney and didn't check the emails.

The desk guy said I would have had to pay the $237 if I hadn't had the photocopied confirmation note - boy would I have had issues with that!!!!

Anyway, we had a great 3 nights there and enjoyed our gardenview room. There are no balconies anyway, so for us, we liked saving money and staying in a gardenview room facing the water taxis etc - likely not the most picturesque, but a nice enough view all the same. We were on the second floor, even though I had requested certain areas based on the DIS boards, but since none were ready by 4pm, we were anxious to get our room and took room 2106.

Have a great trip! You'll love Express at Universal/IOA! It sure beat the week of Disney Fastpasses! :cool1:

I think I also got 3. I even called them to make sure the reservation was still on file with the RPR, because last year, they lost my HRH ressie.

Like said in previous posts, be sure to print your confirmation notice with rates. And call a few days before going to make sure they didn't "lose" your ressie. This usually happens at the HRH.

If I had to find a fault with Universal Orlando, it is their Accounting Office.

The office is a complete joke. If you ever have a problem with your bill, or if you want to pay your stay in full before you leave (like me), customer service will give you the number for Accounting. Reservations cannot help you with either issue. However, you will never get someone to pick up the phone at Accounting. They have had the same message for two years now. It says they are experiencing high call volume and cannot take your call. For 2 years?? In mid August?? Time to hire more people. Your messages will often not be responded to either.

That is definitely one thing Disney does much better than UO.
