How Many Points in your Initial Purchase?

As a companion poll to How Many Points Do You Own?, How Many DVC Resorts Do You Call Home? and What Year Did You First Join DVC? (on the DVC Planning Board) this poll asks how many points did you buy in your initial purchase- whether thru DVC directly or by resale. Feel free to indicate how long it took for any subsequent add-ons.

Our initial purchase in 1993 was for 230 points. 230 was the minimum purchase originally, but had been lowered to 210 in early 1993. It has since dropped to the current 150 minimum for direct purchases. We bought in June, 1993 and did our first (of many) add-on in October, 1993 (45 points).

I know I'm probably over-thinking this, but...

I've got a quick question before I respond to this poll... if we did our first add-on before we closed on our original contract (we chose not to combine them because we didn't want that many points on one contract), do I post the amount of points in the first contract, or the amount of points in those two contracts combined.

We purchased 300 OKW resale and 170 BCV direct within two days of each other in July 2002. We added on to BCV 3 months later.

Our 300 at BWV was our first buy.

Our initial purchase was this year at SSR for 220 points. I wanted enough points to stay in a one bdrm villa for 7 nights straight during the most expensive season we would travel in - Adventure season. It's only 194 at SSR but 214 at some of the other DVC so just in case we wanted to stay at any of those I wanted to be covered.

We will add on, probably after this contract is paid off in 3.5 years.

I'd like to vote twice in this poll...I know it's weird, but we have two initial purchases.

The first time, (I believe in '95) we bought 150 points at OKW. We later sold all those (at a profit, too ) but on our last trip back to Orlando, we bought in again at SSR with 240 points. (2 contracts, one for 150, the other for 90.)
