How Many Points Exist?

Has anyone ever asked or tried to figure out based on room size, and number of points required to book, how many point exist for each dvc property and is that the same for every use year? Do they typically sell a month at a time?

Thoughts?

It's easy to compute. Divide the annual operating budget of the resort by the per point maintenance fee.

Yes, but don't forget to account for taxes, and reserves and such.
