How many points do you own?

230 at AKV.Bought in end of 08. 1 contract for now!, If we add on it will only be at AKV and would want it to be the same UY. I dont know how you guys handle multiple contracts/resorts/and UY's. It would get WAY too confusing for me. I LOVE Kidani so I am happy we bought there., but anywhere on property is good to me!

DH is in awe of the 1000+ DVC's. When I read him a post about how some snowbirds use DVC as their winter home he LOVED the idea. We have a long while before we become snowbirds ourselves so we have time. When ready we will probably buy resale with a Dec UY just like we have now.

We have 200 all at SSR. We originally bought 150 when that was the minimum and after our first trip we bought another 50 right away. Would love to buy another 30 as soon as possible but cannot find a 30 pt contract at SSR.

We have two 180 point contracts at BLT (bought last June) and two 50 point contracts at AKV (purchased a few months later.) I have 2 kids and split my contracts so that someday I can pass them onto the kids equally. I didn't want them to have anything to fight about after I'm gone

With a total of 460 points, I think we have more than enough. I added on the AKV points just to be able to do a long weekend on CL every other year or so. We had one CL stay before our initial DVC purchase and I knew I'd want a fix every so often!

It's just me and the Hubby so a studio is way big enough for us. We bought in Dec. while there for our Christmas trip. So I was able to book my April 2010 trip using 137 pts. And I banked 113. Then I booked my Dec. 2010 trip using 103 pts. (from the banked pts)
That will leave us with 260 pts. come Dec. 1ST when we get our new points. I can't wait to stay at BLT. I was lucky to get a studio MKV for both trips I have booked.

As an overseas DVC member, it is impossible to get to Disney more than once every couple of years, so we bought 100 at AKL in Sept 08. Have booked our first stay in Sep this year using points (9 nights in a 2 bed Std) and will probably (definately!?!?) add another 50 at least.
