How many points do you own V2 electric boogaloo

I think sometimes when get a "favorite week" / guaranteed week for let's say 178 points and want to buy 200 points, they will give you the guaranteed contract and a kicker small contract of 22 points or whatever so that's how strange little contracts happen too.

Grand Villas twice a year? 1 & 2bd 5-10x a year? Studios for months at a time? Multiple rooms multiple times a year?

I feel like I wouldn’t know what to do with 400 points. lol

I have 3 25-point contracts, and two 30-pointers. Just sold a 40-pointer. There are a ton out there at 25-30 points, they just don't turn over too often.

How do you guys spend that many points? (not asking as if it’s impossible I’m asking how you actually use them).

A two week trip to WDW with friends and family with us every other year or so. Hosting a family reunion with rooms for 25 ish people every three years. About 4 to 5 Disneyland trips a year. Planning for Aulani at some point in the future. It’s not too hard. Most stays are in 2BR or 1BR but we do grab studios too. Some GV stays when the occasion or makeup of the group warrants it.

Bought it for $80 PP in February, sold it in July for $115 PP.

400 points will barely get you a week in a 2BR at Aulani, in the worst view category.

Voting results fun to see. In my case, I called it ‘strategic addonitis’ & ‘budgeted addonitis’. 417 (225/125/67).

Vote stays the same after an increase to 505 (225/125/67/88). Have to be very careful with keeping points dry and not feeding them after midnight.

We bought in OKW when if first went on sale. We've subsequently sold those and now own 5 resorts and many more points than the 2000 point level listed. We own at various resorts for the 11 month window. (PVB, BRV, BLT, VGF) And SSR for SAPs

We take our daughters and their families at least three times a year in GV's and/or multiple Studios. (All 12 of us) These trips are usually Spring Break, July 4th, and Thanksgiving. Me and my wife also travel 3/4 times a year as well usually in 1 BR's. We also provide our daughters and their families points for their individual family trips.

In all seriousness, it's lovely that you are creating so many wonderful memories for your family. I don't think we'll ever have 2000 points, but I do dream of being a DVC tycoon by the time I have grandkids so we can have an annual extended family trip.

Thank you. We're fortunate to be able to do so. (Dating myself, but as a 12 year old our family stayed at the POLY the first week it was open in 1971, I've never been able to escape the Disney Bubble... )

The beauty of the system and how flexible it is that you don't need thousands of points to have a great time with family as long as you don't have to do a huge trip every year. I just checked and a 12 night stay at SSR in the summer is just around 438 points for a 2BR. Even if you need 4 of those for your family you could easily do that every few years if you had 900 points or so. Or you could do a GV and 2 2BRs for just over 1800 points. Still not too hard to do if you own under 1000 points. Splitting into multiple studios also could make it even easier to do on less points.

I sometimes worry that we may struggle to use all of our points if for some reason we postpone future trips we are planning. Thankfully the high point charts at the Grand Cal can takes care of that problem quickly....
