I really like the CCV cabins and no lie the dream is to perhaps stay a few weeks in them a year if the rest of the family doesn't want to help us use the DVC points 20ish years from now. The only issue is the Cabins are just a little less than the CCV GV and for my vote I'd rather move into the CCV GV for 2 weeks. It would be silly to be just to the two of us in that room, but I could see the kids/others visiting and having three extra real beds and being inside the main building are worth the 7% extra points. The cabins do have the advantage as there are more of them and the chances of them being open at 7 months so we can pool all our points together to book is higher.

Ditto. I could see myself enjoying the cabungalows but in general I’d prefer to stay in a GV. Both options are luxurious and I would be content staying in either but the GV is definitely the better value. That fireplace and outdoor hot tub does sound nice though
