We started with 200 at VWL as we were sure that would be enough. Two purchases later we are up to 480 (between 2 resorts) and we think that should do it.

We started with 150 at BWV. Our first trip we wanted to try something besides WDW so we went to HH. Within the first 2 days of being there, we did a 100 pt add on at HH. The next trip to HH, we added on another 82 at HH so that we could do a 1 bedroom every July from Sun-Sat. Eventually we'll add on more - when the timing is right for us. As said before, it does become addicting!

In 91 we bought 230 at the Disney Vacation Club (OKW) and have done several add ons, to the point I am addicted to adding on. Therapy is kinda working, but I call from the closet every now and then.

Anyway we are off to Africa on the Safari in two weeks because of DVC points. We will also visit DLP on the way over.

In order to go every other year and stay in a two bedroom we needed to purchase approximately 260. We would have some extra then. Also, since add on's can only be round numbers, I decided to purchase 262. Goofy, I know but hey, this is Disney.

I started on a resale of 70 OKW pts and before it closed bought 150 BCV. Nov before the increase we got another 80 so we have 300 total. We have DD7, DS5, DD4, and a new D? due in early July so I knew I needed enough to get a 2 BR when we took the kids.

We bought 2 resale OKW contracts for a total of 430 points, then when BCV went on sale we bought 170 pts there... then we found a great BWV contracts for 270 points...... 870 points in a year...... AND we are borrowing.........

BUT no trips planned until June 2004 where we will be using ALL of 2003 points and 90% of 2004 points (18 rooms)

We started with 180 points at BWV. We are now owners at BWV, BCV, VB,& VWL. They total 1, 260 pts. It's very addicting!

I started with 175 pts. at BWV in May of 2000, then did a 50 pt. add-on and a 25 pt. add-on there. This year I bought 125 at BCV. So I'm now at 250 BWV and 125 BCV for a total of 375. That will have to be enough, and it pretty much feels like enough for what I want to do. I feel lucky to have 375, although if somebody wanted to GIVE me more points I probably wouldn't say no.

We started with 175 at OKW, added 75 at OKW, added 50 at OKW, added 100 at VWL, and then added 100 at BCV. 500 should hold us. We get at least two trips every 12 months, sometimes 3 or 4.

Started by thinking we would only need 150 as there are only 3 of us and we would stay in a studio. Yeah right, impossible after staying in a 2 bdrm. Now we share the dvc experience with others.
After renting points from another member we realized we should just add on and now we have 250. But it's still not enough. I'd like 100 more. Oh well maybe next year..

Started in 1994 at OKW (the only DVC in '94) with 230 points. After several add-ons, I now own at OKW, BWV, HH and VB for a total of 810 points. I have told my sales rep to not take any more of my calls!

In January 1995 we started with 210. Since then we've added on 8 times and now have 1075 all at OKW. We're now looking for a June OKW resale of about 200 points and would like to find one and close within the next 6 months.

We started out with 230 points at OKW and added another 200 points at BWV. We were only a couple when we bought originally and now have a 3 year old DD.

With 3 older children your needs will be different than ours. At the minimum you will need enough points to book a 2 BR and you may want to plan for a 2 BR plus 2 studios so your young adults can have privacy. Any points you don't use this year can be banked into the next one.

Our initial purchase was 230 pts at OKW in Jan 1994. We have since added on 3 times and now have a total of 600 all at OKW.

We bought 175 BWV pts in Oct 2000. Two weeks later we added on an additional 50 BWV pts. Then, in Feb 2002 we added on 110 VWL pts, so we have a total of 225 BWV and 110 VWL (total of 335pts). We see probably one more add on to even up our pts into amounts that can be evenly divided into 2 for our 2 children when it is their time to take over our points. So we will have an add on of 115pts in the future

We started with 164 OKW points. (6 nts magic season 1 br)
Then we added 64 BWV points, (Fri & Sat magic preferred studio)
Finally, we just added 50 BCV points for SAB 11 month booking.
Grand total is 278.

It's funny, we figured exactly how many points we would need for stays at a certain time of year and have never used them that way. We like the 2brs and studios and have just come back from our 1st 1br stay. Very nice.

Will we add again? I don't know, but if we do it'll be in 2 or 3 years (maybe longer) and probably at OKW....spruce
