We have 5 phones, but I want one more in the basement, maybe one in the front room and maybe one that we could put out on our deck. I carry my cell phone with me almost 100% of the time. I think that's plenty for two people
DH and I each have a cell phone.
We have a regular phone in the living room, but no one every calls us on our home phone. We only have the phone line for DSL. For a year or so, we ONLY had cell phones b/c we had cable internet...but then the cable people made me angry one too many times so we got a phone line and got DSL.
2 cordless, one of the fax machine and two cell phones, we also have a cordeed one that we keep by the bed in case the power goes out and we cant use the other landline phones.
THinking thats a little excessive for our small house.
At our 8 room home we have eleven 4 Line phones, 3 single line phones and a phone on the Fax machine. We have two handheld cells and a cell in each of our two vehicles.
Our jobs require us to always have communications access.
2 regular phones, 2 amplified phones, 1 tty and 4 cell phones. Plus 2 text pagers so dh and I can keep in touch since my cell phone is only used for email
1 in the kitchen
1 in the living room
1 in our bedroom
1 in the kids bedroom
1 in the laundry room
1 in the sunroom (where my computer is)
1 cellphone
That makes 7. Like to get one for the garage and one for upstairs...I have one of those cordless ones that you can buy extra handsets to use without needing a jack. Maybe I will do that.
