Hi -
Just wondering how many people are allowed in a studio room at Beach Club? My husband and I booked this room months ago but we have now decided to take our boys - any thoughts are greatly appreciated! TIA

Max occupancy for the BCV studios is 4 plus an infant under the age of 3.

BCV studios have one queen bed, one double sleep sofa and a portable crib similar to a Pac 'n Play is provided for the infant.

Ok so .. Let's say I had 70 pts and had to purchase 7 more paying out of pocket to stay in a studio at BCV and I was now interested in changing things around to accommodate my family of 5 - would I be allowed to take my 77 pts and apply them elsewhere, or would I simply lose the money that I paid out of pocket for that room?

Not sure what your situation is with the points, so I can't answer that.

With regard to the BCV studio, I think it's a great room for two people. We stayed in one with two adults and DD7-at-the-time and it was WAY too small for the three of us.

You purchased points through member services? You can apply them to another reservation in the same use year.

My understanding is that you can only purchase the one time use points once per year. So if the new room you want takes more points, you may be out of luck unless you can borrow some from your next use year.

If you couldn't get a one bedroom villa (the BCV one bedroom villa does not have the sleeper chair, so you would have to bring your own aerobed or book one of the villas that have the sleeper chair - OKW, AKV or BLT) with 77 points, you could use those 77 points to book as many nights as possible and pay cash for the remaining nights. Or get a transfer from another member to book the remaining nights.

Since your youngest (of three) is three or older, you need a one bedroom villa at a minimum.
