We are considering our next stay at Pop in order to be able to spend more time in the parks. We do not sit around our resort much and enjoy being in the parks. What is your opinion of the resort? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

It is one of my...if not...favorite(s). I stayed there last trip. It was fun, cheap, and enjoyable! Stay there!

Thanks. How was the food?

Didn't enjoy it, but many others have. I say give it a shot and see what YOUR family decides ;)

We love it! Stayed May 04 and going back in 66 days! :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Food in our opinion was very good. Especially the salads anc the chinese selections!

I was there just last week and I loved it. I think they had good food. It was a very enjoyable place to stay.

Did not like one thing about it. We really could not believe the drop off from the moderates. If you have stayed at a moderate or deluxe chances are you will notice the difference.

With that being said, I have read many posts from people that have stayed at the moderates and loved the POP Century. It was one of the reasons we stayed there in Dec. 2004 (That and $55 p/night). Howevwer, we were disapointed. :)

I stayed for a week in may and will NEVER stay there again. It was just horrible.I'd stayed at the 3 AS resorts and enjoyed them. Which made the stay at Pop that much more disappointing. The noise level was beyond description everywhere you went,no matter when you went.the only positive I can say where the buses only went to the Pop resort. However I found that there were less of them at the busy times so we actually waited longer to get on 1.Personally I'd rather stand on a shared AS bus and get back to the room quicker at the end of a long day at the parks than wait longer in line and sit on a bus.

It's OK. It's basically a Motel 6 a bit gussied up.

If your doing the park commando thing, it's not bad. But we're too used to the nicer resorts to want to stay theire more than a night.

We loved it. We stayed there for 2 nights in between staying at Saratoga Springs and Villas at Wilderness lodge, and the whole family loved it. We had 2 connecting rooms. The food court was nice. We did eat off-site a few times. We would stay here again and recommend it. :flower:

We have stayed there 3 times now and will stay there again.

We enjoyed our time there.

Loved it so much in April, we are headed back for Thanksgiving! It is such a fun resort!

We had a great time! It was just me and my two kids last June. They were 2 and 5 at the time and it was perfect for them. The loved the pool, the theming of each building and the food court. Our room was super clean, altough a tad small for my tastes, but it fit our budget and was perfect for our spur of the moment 4 night stay.....we actually showed up at 7 am one morning and got a room on the spot! It was so cool driving through the night and seeing the looks on the kids faces when they woke up and we were at Disney World. Have an awesome time...you can't go wrong at Disney!

We've stayed twice and always enjoyed it. We stayed in the 80's and 90's. These buildings are the furthest away but are much quieter in terms of noise. It was quiet except for noise in the morning of everyone getting up. The walk to the main lobby, food court, and bus stops are still a short walk. I would definitely stay again if I did'nt stay at the hotel much.

We have stayed here twice & just loved it! We never had problems with noise or having to wait long for buses. I guess it is just a hit or miss thing as with all resorts. Housekeeping was wonderful & the foodcourt has plenty of different items to choose from. Our boys loved swimming in the pools & playing in the arcade. The rooms are a little smaller, but it is a good place to rest your head & tired feet. For the price I think this resort is perfect & to me it screams Disney :goodvibes So even when you are not at the parks you still feel part of the magic. We did have reservations for Oct. but decided we would try a moderate this time. I'm sure we will be staying here again. Give it a try & decide for yourself, I do not think you will be disappointed.

LOVED IT! Been there, done that, going back! 70's Big Wheel is our building of choice. We went in early April and it wasn't crowded at all. Never heard a peep from rooms on either side, or above. The foodcourt was great. We only had one little problem, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a bus to Downtown Disney one afternoon. Other than that our stay at Pop was great.

We liked it!! The room was clean, mousekeeping was good. The theme was cute, pools nice and clean. The arcade was great. Foodwise--breakfast was good, the rest got old real fast. It started to get a little noisy toward the end of our stay. We would stay there again--but not for a whole week. We really need a little more room to spread out, but that's just my family's preference. :flower:
